Pentre Bach is a small campsite with a 16 bed Bunkhouse set back from the road by 200m along the edge of the enticing Snowdonia National Park - so, very safe for families and dogs. Backpackers, bikers, cyclists and scouts are all welcome. Small campervans (VW size) enjoy a handy hardstanding area at end of car park, while there are relaxed grass pitches for campers. Bring wood to join in at the fire pit so that you can sit back and stargaze.
About Pentre Bach
If you like peace and quiet then this place is for you. You can relax in the field and the kids can play safely, with no cars allowed in to disturb them. There is a car park just a few footsteps away. A warm welcome awaits you and help is always on hand if you need advice about the local area, hill walking and more. You'll be able to relax and spread out over grass and hardstanding pitches without electric. This is a real getaway from it all kinda site - so that's it, folks! Dogs are welcome but you need to say so first so there aren't too many crazy animals running about! There is a small charge for your fur babies. Please keep them under control and use dog bin provided. The bunkhouse accommodates up to 16 people. You can take sole use or share with others its up to you. Toilets and showers are shared with campers.
The campsite is open from 1 March - 31 October. The bunkhouse is open all year.

6 x Non Electric Grass Pitches
Max 5 people
6m x 6m grass pitches suitable for tents no bigger than a six man tent. Please advise on size when booking. These pitches are suitable for tents only.
Non Electric Hardstanding Pitch
Max 2 people
Hardstanding pitch for small campervans eg VW Transporter T5 size. This is situated at one end of the campers car park. No vehicles allowed in camping field. No awnings or gazebos as not suitable.

Site rules and policies
No noise after 11pm.
Please be respectful of other campers that are staying.
No cars in the camping field. Park in the car park, just a few footsteps away.
Please keep dogs under control and with you at all times as adjacent fields have livestock in them and pick up after them.
No van awnings as on hardstanding area of the car park where campervans park.
Please recycle (bins by shower block). Please do not leave broken items such as BBQs, chairs, tents or tables as they cannot be disposed of.

Snowdonia is an adventure lover's paradise where you can get active in a new way every day. But it also has plenty for those indoorsy days, with the Welsh Highland Railway chugging you off on a beautiful ride and Caernarfon's royal castle being the perfect place to nosey along ancient battlements and get an ice cream.
Don't miss Segontium Roman Fort for a taste of the area's history and the National Slate Museum shows off a landscape defined by slate.
