About Morris the Shepherd's Hut
Morris is a quirky standalone shepherd's hut, fully equipped with integral shower and W.C . Available throughout the year with a log burner and heat tubes for chillier months, it offers peace and tranquillity in your own space. Why not also enjoy a soak in the hot tub here too? It's ideal for couples, but one adult can also rent it and enjoy a blissful solo nook in the country. Morris is well positioned with a short drive to both coastlines (40mins). Ideal for walkers and couples who like the outdoors and nature. The hut has everything you need and some visitors never venture out in the winter, as it's so cosy inside. There is a double bed with electric blanket for added comfort and a small but fully equipped kitchenette providing basic cooking facilities, with a tea/coffee station, microwave, induction hob, fridge etc. All bedding, towels and essentials, such as logs, will be provided for your use. You'll even be treated to a welcome pack of assorted breakfast items, like milk, bread and butter. During the spring/summer Morris comes into his own, with beautiful views down the valley, lovely sunsets and incredible starlit nights. There is an abundance of wildlife to see. Birdfeeding in the garden is an added delight, as there is a bird table, insect and butterfly box. If you are up early enough, you may be lucky enough to see otters playing in the river. There is a pretty stream running along side the shepherd's hut, and woods behind. If the weather turns, there's a DVD player and DVDs, plus a books and games drawer and outside covered seating area. In Morris's private garden, guests can relax in the secluded arbour with stunning views across the valley. Toast marshmallows over the fire pit, or enjoy a BBQ and a glass of wine or beer. Try some stargazing, there is little to no light pollution here, and on a clear night the sky is amazing!
