- Paddleboarding
- Zipwire riding
- Mountain climbing
Or when the mood takes you for something more sedate, head for a walk at the local beaches, such as Ben Wharf Bay, Porth Dafarch or Trearddur Bay and build sandcastles. Later, take a tour around beaumaris Castle, built during Edward I's reign as part of his plan to conquer North Wales. As if Wales would ever surrender!
There's also a Victorian gaol in Beaumaris that little ones will want to explore, fully restored and ready for new mischief-makers.
Anglesey is also home to the first aquarium in Wales, a great rainy day activity for families and couples. Get clued up on environmental research going on in Anglesey and see some of the world's most exotic fish!
