About Skoolie Stays
Set in a secluded spot on a private farm, this unique hideaway is the perfect spot for a family getaway or a romantic break. Enjoying wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, the site is also well located for exploring Sussex with the coast a 20 minute drive away and Brighton within 35 minutes. Sleeping up to four, the bus included a master bedroom with a king size bed, storage and wrap around windows for admiring the sunrise. For kids or adults under six foot, there is a 'Murphy' style fold away bunk bed, designed so you can tuck it away during the day for extra room. Bedding is included too. To keep you nice and toasty throughout the year, the bus is insulated with sheep's wool and there is also a clean-burning log stove. There is also a full, hotel-style bathroom with a tiled shower, modern compost loo and sink. For all of your cooking needs, there is a full kitchen with a double burner gas stove, fridge, large sink and penny-table resin countertops. Crockery, utensils, pots, pans and kitchenware are all provided. The American diner seating area is also the perfect spot for enjoying a delicious meal. There is also a comfortable lounge area and sofa for unwinding, plus the driver's cab area is perfect for little ones and a top photo opportunity. A Bluetooth speaker and acoustic guitar are on the bus too. Though the bus is off-grid, there is 2400w of solar power with USB points for charging devices. The bus is located in its own private field (except during May bank holiday weekends and August, there's a pop up campsite in the adjacent field). Outside is a sun deck, accessed through the master bedroom, a great spot for your morning coffee. There is also a fire pit with oak benches, a windbreak, a large camping rug and hammocks for unwinding in the trees! Please note, the site is dog free.
