Dogwood Camping and Glamping is a quiet, secluded site situated in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, deep in the heart of the East Sussex countryside. There is a mix of non electric and electric grass pitches for tourers, as well as a bell tent, yurt, cabin and static caravan for glampers. Me and my friend stayed in the yurt for 2 nights. It is beautiful and authentic. The beds were comfy and had heating for the beds that could be put on to a setting that you required to warm the bed up as it was a bit chilly in the night. Would recommend staying here as we will probably go again.

Lovely, quiet site. Nice to have our own area and fire pit. Bed not particularly comfy but other than that the accommodation was as expected and not too small or poky. Was glad of the composting loo so wasn't too far away in the night!

Beautiful huge yurt. Plenty of space for a family of 4. Warm, cosy and comfortable. Location is good for a variety of days out from beaches to walks. We loved the Broad Oak pub too.

We had an amazing family glamping experience. The yurt is an amazing structure and it is well kept, and warm. The yurt area has table, benches and green area. There were goats and a pony, which the kids loved. The spot is secluded and the place is very pretty in a cute, little, quiet village. There aren't any shops but there's a pub within a walking distance. Village shop within 1 mile or so. With a car, there's lot to see and do with little ones in the surrounding areas. Phil, the owner, is very welcoming and me being silly, ended up mixing up bookings and brought no cooking gear to Dogwood. Phil was very comprehensive and sorted us out. Thank you! There are toilets and warm shower and a kitchen sink. Sadly, the weather was horrible, but the yurt is quite cosy and sturdy, and there's a skylight aperture which is amazing. I totally recommend the place but perhaps on a dryer season but again, weather is unpredictable and there's nothing we can do.

We had a fabulous stay at this very quiet, serene campsite. We stayed in a yurt, which housed five of us very well- we took some blow up mattresses for our three children which worked well. Our kids loved the animals that happily roamed around the campsite. It's a great location for lots of other great places to visit.

We stayed a night in the yurt. It was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The showers and toilets were clean and nice. The free range farm animals were a cute and fun addition to the experience and the children had a lot of fun hanging out with the chickens by the yurt.

Dreamy field to retreat to- with goats and a pony to mow to the lawn. Recommend the Red Lion, and Philip and Katy were there perfect hosts. Enough space between emplacements for privacy. The left side gets the evening sun, the right in the morning.

We had a lovely stay on this quiet and picturesque campsite. While the facilities are minimal the shower block is immaculate and pitches are spacious. The animals on site make for interesting meal times but entertain the children. Site owners are very quick to reply to any queries and the honesty box for eggs and honey is a nice touch.

Philip was there to greet us on arrival. Little hiccup with site allocation and we had to move in the middle of setting up, which while a little inconvenient, ended up good as we had tree cover from dew. Plenty of toilets for a small campsite and showers where great, though as they are outdoors, they get a lot of cobwebs in both facilities which could be cleaned away easily, but weren't. Showers were a little tricky to gauge heat, but once correct temperature was set, they were great. Overall great location, lovely and quiet and very friendly hosts.

Set in a beautiful rural glade, this site is extremely friendly and very peaceful. The toilets and showers are excellent, it is dog friendly and within close walking distance to country walks and seaside. The owners are friendly and helpful and it's lovely to see the goats, pony and chickens roaming the site. We will definitely be back.

Whilst we were happy to be accepted at the last minute and the people were very helpful and friendly, I don't think we will return because of the no radios clause in the rules. We're used to having moderate music playing when we're relaxing and chilling. Toilet and shower block kept clean and tidy, loved the pony and goats wandering around.

This campsite was the first my partner and I stayed at upon our arrival in England. And so far it has been the best! So good we're actually going back there for 2 extra nights. It's nice and quiet but also slightly remote and the campsite is spacious. It has a nice ring of big old trees, some of them oaks, which provide shade, but there are also plenty of sunny pitches. The campsite offers several 'nooks' ideal for people who like their privacy. We particularly enjoyed the 'no noise' policy. The place felt just like home, but with a wild, just exotic enough touch. We highly recommend it!

What a lovely, peaceful campsite. Great location if you want to go out walking and within walking distance to a couple of pubs and a convenience store if you need them, but if like us you just want a couple of days downtime then you can do so tucked away in the field. Love the fact the animals are allowed to roam freely, loved seeing the pony, goats, ducks and chickens. A warm welcome from Phil and very accommodating when we had to move pitch, due to the size of our campervan and awning. We will definitely return and recommend to friends.

Fantastic campsite. Friendly and quiet. Kids loved the animals. Clean facilities. Great location for walks and pubs. The only thing that we would have found useful is if we could keep our car parked by our tent. But apart from that we loved it. Had a really fun and relaxing time and would definitely like to come again.

Can't recommend this site enough. It's small, quiet and has everything we needed for a 4 night stay. The owners are super helpful and friendly, 2 decent pubs in walking distance and a bus ride into Hastings. We'll definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Dogwood campsite. The site was lovely and green, there was plenty of room so you didn’t feel too close to your neighbours. Facilities were good, owners were very friendly and the site was peaceful! Short drive to Rye, Hastings and Camber Sands. We will definitely be returning! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
