We loved staying here. Children can safely run around in ample space. It's great to not have cars around in the evenings.

No one to check you in. Grass area not mowed and extremely muddy in places. Concerns about getting stuck in car and no one to help. Shower block uninviting. Only toilets are portaloos. No washing up facilities and no bins. It's just a field.

It's a lovely location for a few nights in the peace and quiet. My only negative point would be the showers, it was either very cold or scalding, and where other people had used the chairs, they were wet so there wasn't anywhere dry to put my dry things. That being said, I would go back and I am sure I would have a lovely time.

The campsite was nestled in a charming field, offering a mix of level and undulating terrain, perfect for finding just the right spot to pitch a tent. Convenient amenities, like porta-loos on each side of the field and numerous sink locations scattered around made our stay quite comfortable. I appreciated the non-car policy of the site, allowing cars only for loading and unloading, which really helped maintain the peaceful environment. There's ample space for large tents and big family groups, ideal for those coming with a crowd. Unfortunately, we had a bit of bad luck this time as a group set up right next to us and were quite noisy until midnight. Despite this, the beauty of the location and the otherwise serene setting means we're eager to give it another go, hoping for a more relaxing experience next time. Such a lovely place certainly deserves a second chance!

Tania's thoughtful support and kind care really made our stay great. She helped with everything from making our booking when there was a slight glitch to our arrival. Then checking to see that we were happily pitched and everything was good for us. Really made us feel welcome. Had a beautiful time and look forward to coming back. Highly Recommended. With thanks, Elliott and Lori.

The most amazing stay at such a beautiful, chilled campsite. First time camping with our kid and he loved it! Loads of space to run about. The view of the hills and stars were top-notch! Being able to have a firepit always makes the atmosphere better. :) Entry was super easy and the host was trusting and inviting, plentiful bags of wood including kindling delivered shortly after arrival for only £10. All residents were super respectful and friendly. The grass was easy to pitch and walk on without the risk of stones. Water and facilities are very close to each pitch up, approximately every three tent's distances, they kindly provide water/wash basins and soap. The only downside was the portaloos smelled but obviously due to super hot weather. The most peaceful camping ever, even with families across the field. Can't wait to camp with Littleton again next year!

A very beautiful field. Spacious, quiet. The camping owner came by every afternoon to sell logs. She was very friendly and helpful and we had a nice talk. She asked if we were alright.

Such a magical location - peaceful and lots of room for pitches to be spread out, but still close enough to amenities. Saw so much wildlife and the Cadence Café is really great too. Such friendly and thoughtful staff. Will absolutely be back again, didn't want to leave really!

Brilliant view, nice host, facilities were great and absolutely perfect for our needs. Couldn't fault the place and would definitely endeavour to stay again if I was in the area.

Beautiful countryside setting in a valley in the South Downs National park with stunning views. Cafe at the entrance to campsite does great coffee and cakes. Several portaloos dotted around the campsite and a family shower room next to the car park. Individual shower/washrooms would be nice for non-family groups. Very friendly and helpful owners. A bit expensive for such basic amenities.
Site's response
Hi Jaine, thank you for your positive review. We appreciate your time to do this. I apologise for any confusion with the shower sign it is intended for all campers and not just families. I just intended to convey that it is not meant to be shared with strangers as it is a large family size room with two showers. I will find a way to make this more clear in future. Our camping rates are on a per person basis to allow single campers to camp at a reasonable price, as we get lots of hikers and bikers from the South Downs way. We pride ourselves on offering unlimited space for any tents, gazebos, football, badminton, etc. we are never what you would call max packed so the price reflects the value of that space. We hope to welcome you back to try the showers! Best regards, Tania.

Back to basics here. Lovely grounds and views. Very laid back owners and very nice. There's an amazing cafe on site that sells really nice coffees, cakes, and hot food. There are port-a-loos dotted all over the site. They're kept clean and well stocked. Showers are basic, only two of them with a curtain that separates the two. But are reasonably clean. But like I said overall the site is basic. Back to nature kinda vibe. And very chilled. Camping area is huge and well spaced out if you want privacy. And they're not strict on how much space you take up. Would definitely go back. Power would be a massive improvement here though for some. And maybe a little upgrade in the showers block?

We recently stayed for 3 nights. First time at this campsite and we enjoyed it so much this will become a regular trip for our family. The campsite is reasonably basic but it is exactly what we were after. There is no shortage of space and, with restricted pitches, it meant our young son and his cousins could run around til their hearts content. The onsite café is a welcome addition too. I would definitely recommend booking. Perfectly located on the South Downs for cycling enthusiasts.

Lovely spot in a valley in the South Downs, tons of wildlife, deer, hare, red kites and buzzards among the critters spotted, along with delightful birdsong.

Beautiful campsite, calm atmosphere, very friendly people! We had a good stay here. I just felt that the price was pretty high in comparison to the very basic facilities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Littleton Farm! The location was perfect, not far from West Wittering beach, with lovely walking routes surrounding it. The service was great with easy opportunity to purchase wood for our campfire every evening. The campsite itself was well kept and quiet, and the portaloos were cleaned regularly. The cafe on site was also lovely!
