We were welcomed on arrival and given lots of useful info, including the directions on foot to the local pub. The loos and showers were modern and clean. The fabulous onsite cafe was a real bonus. We even had a herd of deer grazing in our field!

Very peaceful and enjoyable campsite. Cafe on site can have private events until 10pm, we really enjoyed their live music.

This camping trip was the first with our two year old. We had a really lovely time. The woods around the site were great for exploring. Toilets had lots of loo roll and sinks, hand soap and washing up liquid! Collin let us blow up our electric bed and was lovely and welcoming. Would come back again.

Great spot. We pitched our tents close together and away from other people. The setting is peaceful. Pub a short walk away. Super friendly and welcoming. Just needs hooks in the shower but I am sure that's on the list.
Excellent toilet block

We were happy with our stay, only one night on a long trip. It was quiet, since at end of season, but enjoyed the site.

The location is lovely - a gently sloping field surrounded by trees with the occasional deer peeping through. The café was also great - delicious food, good service, and friendly staff. There was no freezer block facility and no shop, so making an early morning cuppa wasn't possible without driving to get milk. It also meant that we couldn't store any food for long, so again, we had to drive to get supplies every day, rather than eat at the café all the time. Making a campfire using barbeque charcoal was a challenge, and not really successful. Campfire evenings are one of the highlights of a camping trip for us, so this was a bit disappointing. The toilets were generally clean, but there was no hand drying facility and toilet paper often ran low. It seemed that the focus of the campsite was on the café, rather than providing a traditional camping experience, but hopefully next year, the reception and shop will be up and running which will make a difference. If so, we will be back.

Lovely stay with my toddler. Deer on site and little forest to explore. Cafe was very welcoming too. Toilets were clean, didn't use showers. It would be helpful to have signs up showing if the water at the washing up sinks is drinkable or not. A bag of charcoal was in the fire pit to be used but nothing to light the charcoal so we couldn't use it. Next time we will be better prepared- we had lighter and matches but nothing to light!

The setting is pretty in a big field surrounded by woodland. I woke up to find deer grazing outside my campervan. The café is lovely with friendly staff and, although it's not connected to the campsite, it's great to have it there for a nice breakfast and a cuppa in the morning. Very popular though locally so quite buzzing! The gate was locked with a padlock when I arrived at around 8pm after closing time, but I called Trisha from the campsite for the code. Being a woman on my own in a campervan, the locked gate was quite a reassurance. There wasn't anyone from the site actually on site but they're on the end of the phone if needed. The facilities are well cleaned but the two soap containers above the sinks were empty and I'd forgotten my own soap, so perhaps it could do with more frequent attention? I had to drive around the field a little to find a spot which had 4G reception as there's no Wi-Fi and I do like to know I have connection just in case, it's there if you look for it! All in all a very pleasant stay and the other campers were all friendly.

It's just outside Tunbridge Wells, near enough to Brands Hatch. It's quiet, which is the way I like it.
