A note from the site themselves...

We are Moira and Matthew. After Moira's diagnosis of cancer in 2021, we realised we wanted to work, live, laugh and love with each other while running a business that revolved around values linked to nature. We wanted to make people feel good whilst giving a little bit back to the world.

We were fortunate to find a Victorian cottage with surrounding meadows, and we've managed to make our dream come true.

Shepherd's Hut - Narnia Shepherd's HutSep 2024

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay at Milberry Green Meadows. We rang ahead as requested and although a little earlier than the stipulated check in time, was not a problem. Our Shepherds Hut (Narnia) was ready on our arrival and we were so pleased with it. It had everything we needed, from a welcome tea tray (with crisps and choccies), to bath robes and blankets, and hot water bottles. We were lucky with a sunny day in September, we enjoyed an outdoor dip in the bath tub and then warmed up with the log fire in the hut in the evening. The cooking was done on our BBQ pit outside, however, the hut also has 2 gas stove rings in the kitchenette. The site had some lovely touches from a bug hotel, fairy corner and a hut with table tennis, games and books. On the Sunday we did one of the walks that was in the welcome pack, ending up at a brilliant local pub for lunch. We couldn't have asked for anything more and will definitely be back.

Idyllic setting, great for kids

Bell Tent - Unfurnished Bell TentsJun 2024

We had a lovely camping experience. The campsite is really well equipped (new, clean showers/toilets, playground/football pitch for the kids, and an indoor games room/ hub/ kitchen with lots of useful things provided) but still feels very peaceful as the tents are spread out in a beautiful wildflower meadow. The owner met us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed to settle in.

Site's response

Thank you so much for your kind words, Stephanie. We hope to welcome you back again soon!
