About Glamping Holiday
Tucked among Surrey's sweet villages, this glamping site brings a touch of cosy comfort to camping, and allows guests to explore the outstanding beauty of the area. It maintains the feel of a small site, with only five bell tents and one yurt in place. Autumn in the English countryside is stunning and guests can now enjoy a cosy stay in the insulated yurt. Immerse yourselves in the fiery colours of the trees and the crisp, fresh air, all set off by the last of the years sunshine, what better way to enjoy the great outdoors. The site aims to have taken all the hard work out of camping! They provide everything you need for a luxury camping experience. Inside the yurt you will find air beds with all the linen, towels and blankets too. This isn't without lots of decorative touches including biscuits, lanterns and flowers. There is a radiator inside the yurt to ensure a cosy stay even on a chilly night, but please note there are no power sockets inside the yurt/electrical lighting. There is a picnic table for alfresco dining outside each tent. Wake up on your first morning and enjoy your complimentary breakfast pack with bacon from a local butcher, eggs, rolls and milk. This is as well as a firepit, perfect for toasting the marshmallows provided under the stars. One of the best parts of an Autumn glamping break is enjoying the sounds, sights and smells of a real fire. You will receive a complimentary basket of logs on arrival with the option to purchase more prior to/during your stay. Firelighters and kindling are provided. There are two covered kitchen areas on the field. Inside the cupboards you will find all the kitchen equipment needed for cooking tasty campfire dishes. There is also a gas BBQ and two burner gas rings for those meals that need to be prepared a little quicker! You will find ample undercover seating to ensure an enjoyable dining experience in all weathers. There is an electric socket in one of the kitchens for charging phones etc along with an electric kettle. There isn't a fridge on site however you are provided with a commercial grade cool box with ice blocks for keeping perishables cold. Glamping in Autumn is a joy and it can be adventurous or as relaxing as you like. There is endless countryside to explore by bicycle or foot straight from the Glamping field. Several walking routes are provided on site. There is ancient woodland a stone's throw away from the Glamping field and guests can easily join the Wey and Arun canal path for a waterside stroll. If you fancy venturing further afield then the local area has plenty to offer, from Fishers Farm Park for the children just down the road to several National Trust sites a short drive away. There is also a brilliant local pub within walking distance and an information booklet inside the yurt. You can also book the whole site which can accommodate up to 30 people across all tents.
Please note, the bell tent season runs from April to September. The yurt is bookable into the Autumn and Winter months.

Things to do on site and in the Alfold area
Start your trip with Southwater Water Sports Centre, located 30 minutes from the glamping site. They offer a wide range of activities including canoeing and paddle boarding that make for a fun day out. They are easily able to accommodate large groups.
Follow that up with Holmbush Events who offer archery, 4 x 4 driving and paintballing at reasonable prices to get your holiday going!
Wildwood adventure in Guildford (20 minutes from the site) has a treetop rope wildwood adventure and zip wire course that is similar to Go Ape. Their Wood Challenge course is an adrenaline rush!
If you fancy exploring the stunning Sussex countryside then bike hire is available from Surrey Hills Cycle Hire, in the nearby village of Hambledon. It's also highly recommend bringing your own bikes with you if you have them as there is endless countryside to explore straight from the glamping field.
Having worked up quite an appetite and thirst with all that time outdoors, it's good to know that there are plenty of local pubs in the area. Walking routes are provided on site to two of them.
There is a lake on the estate guests can fish on. You must have your own rods/landing net.
