Chesterblade Hills offers lovely pitches for private groups only, in a natural environment between Frome and Glastonbury - boasting spectacular views. A selection of wild pitches also available in the heart of nature or an exclusive use group space. There's plenty of outdoor seating, as well as an indoor chill-out area easily accessed from your tent or touring pitch. Countryside walks on your doorstep.
About Chesterblade Hills
If you like hearing nothing but birdsong and the wind in the trees, this is the place for you. This is a place to disconnect from urban life and reconnect with yourself and with nature. It's nestled on the Saint Mary ley line which runs all the way to Glastonbury Tor - a great place to visit during your stay. Green Heart Venue, the main area of the site, is for exclusive use, with space for up to 45 people. Pitch where you like at this idyllic spot welcoming both tents and tourers. No electric hook-ups available but you'll have private use of the wooden cabin and a fire pit outside. Around 50 metres from the main site is the second camping area that's also for exclusive use. It's a beautiful, wild campground with forested areas and views over the hills - a retreat for those looking to really get back to nature. Wild pitches in this area have access to fire pits and facilites, plus a selection of beauty spots within the charming surroundings.

Max 45 people
Grassed off-grid area available for exclusive hire only. Suitable for tents and tourers, with easy access to a large cabin with cooking facilities. No electric.

Things to do on site and in the Shepton Mallet area
An abundance of wildlife thrives in the area. Birds include buzzards, sparrow hawks, lesser spotted woodpeckers, tawny and barn owls, as well as finches, great tits, blue tits, crows, rooks and swallows. You may also spot wild deer, hares, rabbits, foxes and plenty of badger sets.
There are fantastic walks right outside the campsite and lots to explore in both nearby Frome and Glastonbury. The ancient hilltop fort of Small Down Knoll is a short walk away and provides spectacular 360 degree views from the top.
