You can even start the day with a delicious breakfast at The Running Fox Bakery Café, just a five minute walk away! There are six non electric pitches available for tents only. Each measures a minimum of 6m x 12m and allows up to six people, with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy some peace and quiet. If you want to leave the tent pegs at home but still have a back to basics experience, opt for one of the ready tents. Inside is fully furnished with a queen size bed, bedding, linen, a wood burner, two USB ports powered by a leisure battery, a radio and a table and chairs. Outside you will also be provided with a BBQ, fire pit and a table and chairs for al fresco dining. Shared eco facilities can be found nearby, and guests will need to bring their own towels or hire them from the site. Campers are also welcome to bring along their own BBQ, just please ensure they are raised from the ground. Fire pits are available to hire too with logs to purchase, perfect for toasting marshmallows under a starry sky. For keen walkers, the St Oswalds Way runs very close by and the site will even collect and drop you off for free from the nearest location. The popular Northumberland 250 route is just a stone's throw away too! The site is pet free. But, be sure to say hello to the resident alpacas and sheep!
