Cosy little hut! Toilet, shower and kitchen were very close by and very clean. We actually had sole use of them on our stay. It felt very private and secluded. Lovely spot, yet so close to A1. We didn't use the pub but it was very close and looked lovely.
Excellent Escape

I loved it here, so peaceful and relaxing. Excellent facilities with only 3 huts that use the toilet and shower. There was kitchen with a fridge, kettle and washer, along with a great fire pit area. Would stay again with out doubt!

Laura was an amazing host and the hut was full of thoughtful, personal touches. The attention to detail throughout the whole site was impressive. It really is a hidden gem tucked away in the beautiful Northumberland countryside.

Lovely host who met us and said goodbye, but otherwise left us to it, which was great. Nice extra touches added for my boyfriend's birthday, great site with a lovely view. Internet was surprisingly good and all the facilities were good. The bed was comfy.

The location was beautiful and very special. Our hut was located in front of beautiful lavender and the smell was wonderful! If you go be sure to book the Apple Inn as it does book up. However fish and chips on the beach near Bamburgh Castle at sunset was also a special treat. We brought our young dog and it was a perfect first mini holiday for him. He was made to feel welcome by our hosts. The bed was very comfortable, the candles made it very cosy along with the log burner. We asked for breakfast and it arrived in a lovely little basket each morning with a lovely range of food. We ate it outside listening to birdsong and buzzing bees. A highly relaxing mini getaway located nearby many great parts of Northumberland. I would highly recommend! We would love to come again!

A lovely area and very peaceful. Beautiful views from the hut, especially lovely when sitting out in the evening. Lots of space inside for storage. The little log burner was used once and made the hut very cosy and warm, lasting ages! The bed was nice, though could do with a topper as it was a little firm for me. There was plenty of space though and blankets, loved the sheepskins! It is dog friendly, which made all the difference. No electricity in the hut but loved the fact it had little electric tealights. Toilet block was very good and clean. All equipment was in there and it was clean. Would have liked the tea caddy to have been filled for a cuppa when we got there and maybe a small amount of milk but a small detail. Very friendly and helpful host. Would stay again!

Stayed for two nights with my partner and dog, great location only a short drive into Bamburgh and Seahouses and lovely little pub within walking distance. Huts were a fine size for the number of people and nights we stayed. Toilets and facilities were clean and well kept and had a great BBQ area and fire pit.

Stayed for two nights in the summer and really enjoyed our stay. The huts themselves are tucked away in a very peaceful and pleasant spot so anytime spent in them was a treat. They are more than comfortable for two adults and a very silly Labrador which is quite the achievement. The site itself is very close to a pub serving good food and a short drive away from some of the loveliest bits of the Northumberland coast so there is plenty to keep you busy should you wish. The owners were very friendly and looked after us well while we there. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast hampers on a morning which were just the job. Heartily recommended.

We stayed in Hut 2. This was a father and son break. Spotless set-up with every amenity. You'd be surprised out of the price we paid, how little your hosts *actually* see of you. We got a bargain. Spotless. Quiet and with every comfort. If we try to find fault we'd be nit-picking - hard to find because the postcode via SatNav brings you to the pub opposite another set of similar looking huts. Instead go 150 'ish' yards up the hill. The village of Lucker is a quiet 'nothing ever happens' place, exactly what we were looking for. Sadly the pub is not a pub - however if you regularly use phrases like "guys" and "reach out' in everyday speech, it's right up your street. Best beach has you in sight of Bamburgh Castle, access this via "The Windings' in Bamburgh village. Sadly we failed to find decent take-aways or restaurants. Out of the way, with no competition, all could get away with pretty appalling food. Best to buy BBQ food and put it on the BBQ supplied by your hosts. Co-op in Seahouses. Book it.
