Hedgeberry Farm is a back-to-basics pop-up site in the heart of the Kent countryside, located just outside the town of Tenterden. It offers just five grass camping pitches and a spacious bell tent, Willow, for those who want to camp without the hassle. Easy access to Hastings, too (40-minute drive). Meet the farm animals and learn all about working farm life!
About HedgeBerry Farm
This friendly off-grid, pop-up site is set on a working smallholding on just under 8 acres in the heart of the Kent countryside. Located on the main A28, it's nestled between Tenterden and the Village of Rolvenden, with Rolvenden Station for the Steam Railway just down the road. You'll find a handful of grass camping pitches suitable for your tents. Charging facilities alongside a fridge and freezer spaces are also available to keep your food fresh. For glampers, you'll find one fully-furnished bell tent, Willow. Spacious and equipped with all you need, it is complete with a double bed, cooking essentials and a BBQ. The site offers a window into the small farming world and for everyone to be inspired by agriculture via the different ways you can spend time at HedgeBerry. On-site, meet the sheep used for wool and pet the friendly goats. There's also a gardening area and sensory garden where you can relax. It's also home to a small wooded area with a hedgehog house and a bug hotel to discover the natural habitats of smaller animals and insects. Great for the kids! Dogs are welcome.

Site rules and policies
To ensure all our campers enjoy their stay, please follow the simple campsite etiquette rules. Please be aware, failure to do so could result in you being asked to leave.
Arrival
Campers can arrive from 3pm onwards until 8pm. If you are looking to arrive outside these times, please contact the site for prior approval. Please ensure you sign in when you arrive as the site has to have contact details for the council, insurance and, more recently, Covid-19.
Departure
Please vacate your pitch by 11am. Please ensure you leave your pitch in the state you would expect to find it when you arrive.
Payment
Payment must be made the week before or at booking if less than 7days.
Children
Children should be supervised at all times especially in the toilet & are not allowed to enter any paddocks with animals.
Dogs
While we welcome dogs on site, please ensure they are kept on a lead at all times. Please do not allow your dog to go to the toilet on the campsite. You are more than welcome to walk them around our farm but please ensure you pick up after your dog.
Fires & BBQ's
We are more than happy for campers to have a fire and/or BBQ but please ensure they are not placed directly on the ground. We have blocks you can borrow.
Animals
You can say hello and you are more than welcome to do so but please do not go in the Paddocks with them & please do not feed them as they have specialised diets. Please be aware that the site does have Bee Hives on-site, which will not cause any problems unless disturbed.
Noise
Please consider other campers and our neighbours and respect the site's quiet hours.
The site's quiet hours are from 10.00pm until 8am. Please keep all noise levels to a minimum during these periods.

The toilets
Please ensure that you do not litter the ground with cigarette ends, etc. This will harm the animals and cause fires.
Rubbish
The site does not currently have the facilities for rubbish to be left this will need to be taken home with you! Please speak to the site about any composting or disposal of ash.

Things to do on site and in the Cranbrook area
Get stuck into farm life! The site offers a range of opportunities to learn about the farming world including working with the animals and how to grow your own food.
The town of Tenterden is a short drive from the site. Also known as the Jewel of the Weald, this pretty town is home to many independent shops and beautiful buildings. Take a trip on the Kent and East Sussex Railway or visit Smallhythe Place.
