A note from the site themselves...

'Shelley Oaks' is an 80 acre farm on the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire. A part of the Jewell family for three generations we took on the management in April 2016 re-establishing the meadow grasslands and renovating the farm buildings, our goal is to be as nature friendly as possible.

We focus on habitat creation and preservation and don't use artificial fertilisers or Herbicides/pesticides, as a result, we have seen a huge increase in the wildlife visiting the farm. We run a flock of pedigree Jacob sheep, one of the largest in the country and also have rare breed pigs and rescue chickens.

A connection with nature is so important for all of us which sparked the idea of the campsite, a place to reconnect and enjoy the space but also a get decent hot shower at the end of the day! All money raised from the campsite is reinvested into the running of the farm, our next project is to plant a few hundred trees!
