About Cadora Woods Glamping
An ideal location to unwind. This small, adult only glamping site is set amongst ten acres of hay meadow enjoying glorious views of the surrounding countryside. Located in the heart of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean, you are in a great spot for walking and cycling routes, with the River Wye and England/Wales border just a stone's throw away. The site offers five different units, each sleeping up to two guests in a spacious king size bed with linen and bedding provided. Perfect for a romantic break, each unit includes a wood burning stove, two comfy chairs and low level solar lighting. For unwinding outdoors, you will also have a table, chairs and a fire pit. A short walk away you will find your own designated bathroom within a communal block, kitted out with a loo, shower, hand basin and eco toiletries, with towels provided. For all of your cooking needs, there are two communal kitchens featuring a gas hob, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and hot water, plus a shared lounge area. Choose between the Gypsy Moth shepherd's hut, the Tiger Moth converted 1950's railway carriage or the traditional Mongolian Ash Tree yurt. Or, opt for one of the solid wooden yurts, Queen of Hearts and Starry Skies, which both also feature vintage stain glass windows. Pups are also more than welcome to join you for your stay, with up to one dog permitted per unit.

A five minute drive will take you to Clearwell Caves where you can explore the 4500 year old caverns. Discover underground waterfalls and pools, with nine canverns for you to explore on your own self guided journey.
To see the local landscapes in style, take a trip on the Dean Forest Railway with Norchard Station a 15 minute drive away. The steam and diesel trains will journey along the heritage railway through scenic countryside with special events and dining journeys available too!
For keen walkers, Yat Rock is a 15 minute drive from the site. The forested park area offers wonderful views over the River Wye, with many birds of prey often spotted too!
