Glorious glamping with hot tubs is the name of the game at Great Farm. Come and experience the Cotswolds from a secluded riverside glamping pod, shepherd's hut, hideaway in the trees or a fabulous gypsy waggon. Divided into private camps with private facilities, the site is ideal for a couple or family in search of their own cosy space.

Treehouse - Kingfisher Camp HideawayAug 2024

We had a long weekend at Great Farm and it provided a great base to explore the Cotswolds and for us to complete the Thames Path. Each evening we came back to the tranquil peace and quiet of Great Farm but were still close to places for dinner and a drink. Waking up in the morning to the birds singing and the little stream burbling away - heaven!

Glamping - Nightingale CampMay 2024

Great facilities, amazing location, very peaceful. Perfect for a short break away. If you want to get away and spend time with nature, then this place is a great choice. It's so tranquil and a lovely way to appreciate living alongside nature, rather than the separation from it that most people are used to nowadays. We stayed at the Nightingale Camp. The facilities are great for this site. You have 2 small "buildings", one for sleeping and the other for the bathroom, which to our surprise had a large bathtub inside! The bathroom was finished very nicely and was clean. The bedroom/living room was cosy. It has a log burner, which we didn't use as it wasn't too cold, and a bag of wood with firefighters & matches was provided. We decided to use the wood for an open fire outside of an evening, which we loved. A hot tub was also on-site, but we didn't try it out. Also, before you arrive the owners will send a link to a well-designed website that is full of information and is easy to browse. It includes stuff such as directions, nearby recommendations, tutorials on making fires and more. There's an old little bench facing the river next to our accommodation that my wife and I sat on, watching a woodpecker explore each of the trees. A nice addition to our time there. I recommend this to anyone who loves being out in nature, or just wants to appreciate it without the hassle that comes with traditional camping, while still getting to do the nice parts of camping, like making fires or cooking on little gas stoves. P.S. The sites are next to a river, so it was extremely muddy walking to our accommodation (which appeared to be the furthest one away), even though the rain hadn't been particularly bad prior. Make sure you have wellies or heavy-duty boots that are waterproof! The site does offer some spare to use, but unless you're lucky, then you're unlikely to have the same-sized feet :D

Gypsy Caravan - Barn Owl CampMar 2024

My family (husband and 2 kids aged 5 and 7) had a super time at Owl Camp for a mini break in the Easter holidays. Leonie was helpful in providing information on locating the camp, which was a bit tricky in the dark. She helpfully put on the lights for us as the camp is across a field and prewarned us that it was a bit soggy so to drive carefully. The camp itself is in a remote location, very private and quiet. The gypsy caravans had lovely fresh linen and towels. The hot tub was a big highlight for us. Very relaxing and a perfect treat after a day of sightseeing locally. The kitchen area has a sink set up with taps and basin and a double electric ring for cooking on. The toilet and shower room is very clean and modern. Handy to have a living room area with benches and wood burner. Leonie supplied a starter pack of kindling and logs, which kept us cosy. Our family really enjoyed staying at Barn Owl Camp. Maybe take slip on shoes/flip flops as handy when moving around the camp/accessing the hot tub.

Camping Pod - The Island Glamping Pod with Hot TubOct 2022

Lovely private camp, never saw any other people staying in other camps. Pod was very cosy and warm. Aga made a lovely cosy spot to sit outside. Lower marks on cleanliness because obviously most of it is outside so leaves and cobwebs are to be expected. We would definitely stay again

Treehouse - Kingfisher Camp HideawaySep 2022

Booked this for my girlfriends birthday just to get away from it all for a few nights. We had a wonderful, peaceful 3 days. The lodge is basic, but has absalutely everything we needed including a super comfy bed. I see the Dutch hot tub gets mentioned a lot and it does take some time to get going, but once up to temp its very easy to keep hot (we actually had to add cold water the second night as it was too hot!!). You will need a bag of logs per day to keep it going though.
