Harford Bunkhouse and Camping are ideally located in the stunning Dartmoor National Park, with plenty of surrounding countryside. There are non electric grass pitches for campers as well as two camping pods and a cabin, sleeping up to four or six people with outdoor deckings and a shared BBQ. There is also a bell tent and two safari tents. With beautiful countryside views and 20 minutes from Plymouth, this is a great choice for relaxing.

Good place very clean and nice toilets, showers, dish washing area. Not too far from train station so walkable. Although the location on Googlemaps is wrong, follow the GPS code from the Listing.

We stayed for three nights in the 'Glamping' Cabin. When we arrived, it wasn't ready for us, but we were early. The lady stopped what she was doing and went down to get it ready for us, which was very kind of her. The location is very quiet and you can't hear a thing during the night. It's close to the A38 as well. The showers were well pressurised and nice and hot. The toilets were always clean. The fridge in the wash up area was clean. Unfortunately, there were several negatives for us during our stay. Very little privacy in the shower block. Just plastic sheeting covering the entrance & a couple of shower curtains to stop people wandering down. No changing room there, just a bench on the outside. No power in the cabin. There is a light, but no electric for guests. No access to a kitchen. No hand soap in the gents. There is a lack of rubbish bins on site. One in the cabin might be useful, or at least one in the washing up area. We could only find one in the toilet blocks. The light in the washing up area is minimal & will only come on at night or when it's dark as it's on a sensor. Lack of washing up facilities in the washing up area. Whilst there was water, there was no soap or cloth to wash with. There is a lack of decent signage to try to find the site.

Clean, quiet and trustworthy site in a tucked away location on edge of Dartmoor. Basic but very clean facilities. Friendly people. Very quiet, small site.

Beautiful views to wake up to. The campsite was basic but very clean, lovely hot showers in a well maintained block. The farm peacock was so beautiful and actually very friendly! Waking up to sheep outside the tent was just brilliant, and they didn't try to eat anything!

Loved the wildlife, bit pricey. We enjoyed our stay, good location and beautiful countryside. Felt it was quite expensive for a family of 3 and a dog with 2 small tents.

We loved our stay in one of the pods. It was clean, comfortable and really good value for money. The little veranda at the front was very handy. The facilities at the campsite are great - clean showers, fridges and some kitchen equipment. Our dog loved the campsite but it is leads on the whole time as there are lots of free range birds (even peacocks!)
Happy with the stay

As a first time camping pod stayer, the pod was lovely. I appreciated the owners flexibility when arriving a couple of hours later than the check-in time advertised because of traffic. I didn't appreciate or think to ask about plug sockets in the pods. This resulted in a bit of a challenge charging a mobile phone/tablet/smart watch (which is why I've marked this as 4/5). All in all, very happy with the stay, and my daughter loved staying in 'the treehouse'.

We loved this campsite. It was easy to find, it's in a beautiful quiet location with a lovely view surrounded by fields. There was lots of space so we could be quite far from the other tents. The toilet and shower blocks were clean. I forgot the plug for my phone charger. When I called the site's telephone number, they answered right away and brought me one to borrow for my stay. Great value for money in a lovely spot, close to the lovely little town of Ivybridge that had some nice restaurants
