About Quarry Pods @ Dunsdon Farm
Quarry Pods is a small site of luxury camping pods, nestled down in the old stone quarry at Dunsdon Farm, an historic North Devon farm, with 1000's of years continuous use and a mention in the Domesday book. The farm is managed for conservation, with its own private 23 acre woodland reserve, wild flower meadows and much wildlife, including nesting barn owls that are viewable on monitors in the covered area and rainy day room. There are five pods in total, three larger family pods which sleep four people, and two smaller pods which sleep two. All pods are carpeted, heated and insulated, with mains power and their own luxury private bathrooms. Please note that the site is an independent and separate business from Dunsdon Farm itself and Dunsdon Cottages.
Open from 1 March to 31 October
There are 5 accommodation options on-site
2 x Standard Pods
Sleeping two, the pods are carpeted, with electric lighting, heating and mains power. Each pod also has its own private bathroom, with toilet, shower, sink and wash basin, situated in an adjacent block.
3 x Supa Pods
Larger pods, suitable for families (or couples requiring a little more space!) and sleeping four. As with the standard pods, they are insulated, carpeted, with electric lighting, heating and mains power, with private bathrooms situated close by.

Site rules and policies
Because this is a working farm, managed for conservation we maintain a "QUIET" policy, especially whilst our Barn Owls are nesting.
And request all guests respect this - If you don't feel members in your party will be able to do this, the Quarry Pods is not for you!!
We do welcome children, but within reason the same rules apply.
Things to do on site and in the Holsworthy area
The site holds farm walks each Tuesday (weather permitting) to discover local habitats and let guests meet the animals, and also adjoins both Dunsdon National Nature Reserve and Bude canal. There's a great walk to the Tamar lakes, itself a good spot for watersports.
The site is home to rare breeding barn owls which you can watch on specially set up owlcams.
Bude is just 7 miles away, with great restaurants, shopping and activities. Elsewhere on the coastline, Sandymouth, Widemouth Bay, Duckpool, Clovelly and Crackington Haven are all within easy reach.
