This place was a really great find, and I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the North Devon coast. The owner, Bridget, is so friendly and helpful; she's really thought of everything and the bell tents and cooking huts are equipped with everything you could possibly need. It's a beautiful place and our children (aged 12 and 9) loved it. We'll definitely be going back.

We had a wonderful stay here and were impressed by the beautiful setting on the site, along with the tranquillity. The host was fantastic in ensuring we had everything we needed and comfortable with our stay. The only thing we could've benefited from was access to a fridge. Otherwise our stay was amazing and allowed us to visit all the beautiful spots in the North Devon area. Thank you Bridget.

What a lovely site, everything you need. Got all the cooking equipment with 2 ring gas top, also 2 cooler boxes with ice packs up in the freezer by the kitchen area. Got plug sockets up there too, you have your own bathroom which is clean. Inside the tent there is plenty room and cosy when the log burner is on, nice little touches with the candles and the throws, Bridget the host is lovely, she comes to collect your belongings when you arrive and takes them to your tent and makes you feel welcome. Lovely stay :-)

Wonderful host Not luxury glamping as such, but the best combination of having all setup, but not over pampered. The layout of 3 tents and a shepherd hut was lovely, with loads of space

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by Bridget, who arrived to greet us with her car and trailer so we didn't have to worry about carrying anything. The tent was fitted out beautifully with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, super comfy beds, quilts and blankets, ample kitchen equipment and utensils within the cooking area outside on the decking. The log burner in the tent was welcome when the evenings got cooler and the kids enjoyed toasting marshmallows on the fire pit outside. Each tent has its own bathroom which was great as we could leave all our toiletries in there, and there was a lovely warm shower. The washing-up area was just outside the bathrooms and had everything needed to recycle and clear away. The freezer and packs were available so we could refresh the cool boxes that are provided with ice packs when needed. Also was a handy plug socket to charge up devices while in the shower or washing up. Everything was so safe we left the phone up there while back at our tent at times. Plenty of outdoor space for football and cricket and running around in a safe and secure environment. At dusk, in the distance, you could hear the wildlife from the animal park settling down for the night. A truly wonderful stay with a fantastic host who always made sure each day that everything was ok, thanks again and we will definitely return.

Located at the end of a long private drive, the site is set in the amazing countryside with fantastic views. Bridget - the owner- greeted us and showed us to the very spacious and furnished tent, with its own outdoor kitchen. We had a fantastic few nights stay. Thank you.

Small secluded site at the end of a private road. Surrounded by open countryside and woodland. Tent was very well furnished and had a separate kitchen, which was a nice. Wood-burning stove for the chilly nights. Ideally located for Woolacombe and Croyde beaches. All and all a brilliant, peaceful place to stay.

Nicely located small-scale campsite. We stayed in a fully equipped bell tent including cooking and bbq facilities. Each tent has its own bathroom. Recommended if you are looking for a place to stay in North Devon.

Just a perfect place to stay! Beautiful surroundings and a beautiful, spotlessly clean and comfortable bell tent with plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 large teenagers. Covered area outside for eating, cooking, sitting, drinking etc. And plenty of open grass space for spreading out - comfy deckchairs and seats are supplied. The kitchen is brilliantly stocked with utensils, crockery, cutlery etc even a sharp knife. We paid the extra for bedding so we really needed to take nothing but ourselves, our clothes, games and books! Each tent has its own lockable bathroom. No need to be carrying bathroom stuff across a field or to keep dirty washing in the tent! Large fluffy towels are supplied, as is ample loo roll. Bridget is a great host; transports your luggage, knows a lot about the local area and checks that all is ok. A great place to stay, I couldn't recommend it more.
