A good value campsite. Lovely views across fields and hills. The site was clean, including toilets. Didn't use the showers but the water in the sinks wasn't warm. Although the site was pretty busy when we stayed, it wasn't noisy at night.

Great stay and in a lovely location, did get busier as the days went on but still had plenty of space for ourselves.

This campsite was very lovely to stay at, with a lovely area around it and very helpful people who run it. The only thing I would say is it wasn't too quiet in the evening but we did go to bed ant 9pm and this isn't at the fault of the campsite itself.

Lovely campsite, a little road noise and tents are quite closely packed together but other than that, nice location and clean facilities.
Great location for some first timers in the peak

Brilliant campsite, field was relatively flat, just make sure you pitch your tent the correct way round! Shorts and toilets are mobile units, but they're much nicer than a lot of brick buildings I've seen in the past. One thing to mention might be the lateness some people stayed awake, we had a few groups around us that were chatting and playing music well into the morning, until 4am on one night! Not really a problem for us, we were happy having drinks and drifting off, but maybe anyone with young children might want somewhere a little quieter.

We had a lovely first night camping in our new tent. The site was quiet and peaceful in a good location. You could walk to the nearest pub although we drove to the campsite's recommended eatery a 5 minute drive away and were pleased with the recommendation. Good value for money at the campsite with clean facilities which were also cleaned while we were there. Easy drive to lots of places for longer walks in the vicinity.
Brilliant stay!

Plenty of space with great views. Toilet and showers were very good and spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend and we will stay there again. Good for dogs.

Last minute booking and we arrived late due to unforeseen circumstances, but they were very accommodating. Location is great and easy to find and the facilities were clean. I think the cost is slightly inflated for what it is, but we had a great time nonetheless. My only feedback would be that the showers could be a little hotter as the temperature is only just tolerable. Also that the washing up station leaks water from the bottom, making it impossible to stand in front of the sink, so end up washing and reaching at an awkward angle.

It's basic, but then you know that when booking. Really nice location and basic facilities are good. Only stayed one night and was mostly out. We really enjoyed the walk to Tideswell, across Cressbrook Dale and via Litton. Check out the Three Stags Heads Inn for a pint on way back from Litton. Other campers all well behaved, normal people when we stayed. No excessive noise.

A lovely campsite in a peaceful area. It was a great spot for walking in the peaks and just 15 mins from Bakewell. The facilities were basic but clean and had all we needed for 2 nights camping. We hope to be back soon.
