About Sharpley Camping

This four-acre rural site is well positioned between Durham (20 minutes away), home to an elegant cathedral and botanic gardens, and the lovely seafront at Seaham (10 mins away) with its beach and heritage centre. You can even see the sea from a few spots on site. Tent camping with fine views is on grassed pitches. These offer plenty of space and optional electric. Lots of room for kids to potter around and play, with campfires also welcome to keep toasty in the evening. Karting is an option for days when the kids need some more entertainment! For a taste of the glam life, book one of the luxurious glamping pods. These include your own private hot tub for sunset soaks, heating, electric and a raised double bed. Bring camp beds with you to sleep two kids as well. Well behaved dogs are welcome both with campers and in the glamping pods!
