Relaxed site without fixed pitches, nice to be able to choose a pitch. It was a popular site but not too busy or noisy. We loved the views of the hills and the sea, and the sunset. Wendy was very welcoming and friendly, and went out of her way to be helpful. No electric pitches, but Wendy offered to charge phones overnight. Facilities were rustic and fairly basic, but everything was clean and worked well. Plenty of hot water and good facilities for washing up as well as showering.
Lovely quiet campsite in a gorgeous setting

Although the details say we stayed for 2 nights, we stayed for one. I couldn't work out how to book 1 night but a quick call to Wendy (site owner) on receipt of the confirmation email sorted this out for me easily. Also, I couldn't find a campervan option to book, so didn't actually stay in a trailer tent! Booking issues were the only problems I faced. The campsite was easy to find, well signposted from local roads. Set in a large field with a gravel entrance. Pitches are cut grass with un-mowed areas in the centre to provide pitch structure (and a haven for wildlife). There is hedging around all edges of the field, with a 'non camping' field next to it which provided an easy dog walk area for first thing in the morning and late evening. The absence of EHU was not a problem for us because we are self-sufficient with solar panels. We also enjoyed the absence of park lighting (bring a head torch) to be able to view the night sky. Stunning sea views from the park on a clear day. Lovely clean toilets, showers and washing up facilities. We did a great circular walk for just over an hour, ending up outside the Harbour Inn in Porthlevan for a much appreciated pint. The campsite is then a short walk from the town centre at the top of the hill past chip shops, a Chinese takeaway and the local primary school. We forgot our fire lighters for our BBQ, much to my friends horror, I asked another camper (with a well lit fire) if they could help us, they were very friendly and helpful, which seemed to be the ethos of the site. We were 4 adults and 2 lively working cocker spaniels, the facilities were perfect for us. Huge thanks to Wendy who was so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend this site. Will definitely return, with firelighters this time!

This campsite is honestly the best I've ever been to! The field is huge so lots of space and has a sea view! The lady that runs it was amazing, super friendly and helpful and is around a lot if you need anything. The facilities are spotless and there's plenty of them. There's also an open field next to the campsite where you can walk your dog. The perfect location for exploring lands end and the lizard peninsula! Would 1000% recommend!!
Great place, lovely owners - had the most wonderful night

Only stayed for 1 night but couldn't have been a better place to stay. It's close to the town centre, whilst remaining a 15 minute walk away, so it's really quiet in the evenings. Great facilities to use like toilets and showers, would love to visit again!
Great stay!

As a travelling weekend surfer, I generally arrive in Cornwall late on a Friday eve. This site allowed 9pm arrival, which was about right for me. All I need are basic amenities, clean showers, toilets and somewhere to wash up...this was perfect, very clean. Wendy is lovely and her cleaning twice or more times a day...fields on a bit of a slope but certainly not terrible...all in all a very chilled site and perfect for what I need... Recommended if basic and clean are your requirements...oh very close to a big coop and nice pubs and beaches within 10 mins or less...I'm sure I'll return...
A lovely campsite

Lovely little site. Basic but all that was needed. Ticked all the boxes for a short stay. Wendy is very friendly and on site regularly to check on campers and to clean facilities. As camping with teenagers, couldn't do longer than 3-4 nights as they need electricity!!! Plenty of space for kids to play.
Perfect for us!

Basic site just as we wanted in a lovely setting. Wendy is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The site is clean, tidy and well cared for. Wendy is present from what I could see, often cleaning toilets etc and in her hut if people need help.

A quiet, out of town site within easy cycling distance of the harbour and shops. We could choose our own pitch. The manager was really friendly, helpful and usually available on site. Our leaving time was flexible, and we were able to stay on 2 more nights at short notice. There were enough showers and toilets so no queues and these were frequently cleaned. This was basic camping with no shop, fridge or other extras, and this reflects in the price.

A pretty stripped-back and simple campsite, in a fair location for visiting some of the beautiful parts of the Cornish coastline between Land's End and the Lizard.
All good

Myself and my partner stayed here and the owners were so friendly and welcoming. They offer fire pits if you haven't got your own and their shower, toilet and washing up facilities were super clean! Showers were nice and hot. I will definitely be coming back next year! Perfect getaway!
