About Ekopod
Your setting by Bodmin Moor is an International Dark Sky area, so from these units on a clear night you can see the Milky Way. You'll be both getting close to nature and truly appreciating the beauty of rural Cornwall. However, you're also close to the A30 and A39, allowing you easy access to many of Cornwall's top tourist attractions and beaches. With just seven units over a 5 acre site, this is a place where you'll experience a real sense of space and privacy. The site has been awarded Glamping Business of the Year (Gold) in the Cornwall Tourism awards as well as a Travellers' Choice award from Tripadvisor. Each unit is individually designed and gives you a very unique place to stay. All the comforts you would expect from a hotel are provided such as high quality mattresses, crisp linen and flushing toilets - but you also get the fun of a camping holiday. Toast yourself by the log burner, fire pit and BBQs that are provided with the units, plus there are excellent kitchen facilities. All except the Kensa Dome have their own ensuite facilities. You're welcome to bring your four legged friend with you for a glamping break.
The geodomes are open from mid February until the end of December. All other units open on 30th March and close at the end of the autumn half term.

Things to do on site and in the Launceston area
Welcome to Cornwall! Naturally you'll want to try surfing the excellent waves at Widemouth Bay or relaxing on the beaches of Bude, current winner of the UK's best coastal town award.
Keen to put your feet to good use? The South West Coastal Path is temptingly close and a hike on Bodmin Moor - the circuit taking in the highest point in Cornwall - is a 12 minute drive from Ekopod.
To reward yourself for all that activity, eat at the restaurants of Michelin starred chefs such as Nathan Outlaw. Outlaw's restaurant (20 minutes from site) was voted the best in the UK by Waitrose's good food guide and Paul Ainsworth's tasty dishes are also in reach at Number 6 in Padstow.
Visit Tintagel to see the legendary birth place of King Arthur or the spectacular Eden Project, which is 45 minutes away.
Other great attractions include:
- Padstow's fishing harbour and restaurants
- Boscastle
- Port Issac - famous as the setting for Doc Martin
