Lovely campsite. Busy, but as expected on a bank holiday. Not loads to do if you don't want to drive, but overall a good location if you don't want to be contacted by phone or Internet! It seems the East Riding are not on EE! Bliss.

Glad you enjoyed your peaceful holiday.

Camping space was good, site clean and friendly. Good space for car to be parked up at side of tent. Facilities needs updating, showers very poor and water just tricked out, not enough power and spray. Not enough for amount of campers and caravanners, only 2 cubicles, was very clean though. Not much to do round that area, you have to drive out to do things,

Thank you for your review. Just to let you know we have someone coming on the 2nd September with a view to improving the showers. Regulations state, one shower to every 25 pitches, we have four showers 2 in the ladies and 2 in the gents, so we meet the regulations, also caravans and motorhomes usually have their own shower facilities. With in walking distance there are local historic sites, plus events in the village hall. We also have a village shop, post office and pub. If you don't wish to drive, we do have a bus service to Hornsea, Bridlington and Driffield.
Lovely peaceful campsite, great location!

This is the second time we have stayed, and have had a lovely relaxing weekend. The campsite is very spacious, no overcrowding and is very peaceful through both the day and evening. The campsite is a good location for tripping about the east coast, and is only a short drive to towns such as Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough. Closer is Hornsea where there are plenty of pubs, bars and shops for you to enjoy.

Lovely quiet camp site with friendly, welcoming owners. We stayed in the camping field without electricity. There was plenty of room in the middle for a game of frisbee. The trail just across the road was great for dog walking in the morning/evening. Shower & Washing up facilities were spotless as was the entire site; well kept and lovely fresh flowers in the shower block. The pub in the village is only open Wednesday to Sunday so we drove further for an evening meal as we didn’t realise this and we were only staying Sunday to Wednesday. The village shop also has limited opening hours so just something to bear in mind. There are plenty of takeaways in nearby Driffield. A perfect spot to explore the gorgeous coastline, beaches and walks.

A fantastic stay and would definitely return again. Plenty of room and convenient for the local areas. The kids had a great time being able to run around and play on the field. Will certainly be recommending.

Lovely site, very peaceful, lovely clean facilities, dog walk area brilliant and well cared for. Staff very friendly. Accommodating with any requests on pitch location. Sadly we cut our stay short, only stayed 1 1/2 days due to poorly dog not coping with the current heat wave. That wont stop us from returning again, will just leave the grandchildren and dogs at home so we can enjoy it more!

Met on arrival and shown to a pitch by a very pleasant lady, who made sure our pitch was suitable. Very well maintained campsite with a clean and tidy toilet/shower block. Plenty of hot water. There is a nearby pub within walking distance and a small shop, there are a few busses to Hornsea and Bridlington but your own transport is needed to explore further afield. Overall very enjoyable.

Fantastic site, clean and well maintained facilities and well located. 5 minutes from a fishing pond. The Skipsea beach social club is 5 minutes walk away and has a reasonably good play area for the kids with quite cheap drinks. There's a nice pub less than 5 minutes walk away with decent food and you're 15 minutes away from both Bridlington and Hornsea. Only let downs are you can't access the beach at Skipsea without going through a nearby holiday park and the advertised dog walk across the road from the campsite is more of a large back garden than a genuine walk. The large play field for the kids is great but although the camp is dog friendly, they must be on lead at all times unfortunately, no matter how well behaved your furry friend is.

Very welcoming owners, made special effort to engage with my daughter. Left in peace but on hand to help of anything was required. We'll be revisiting for sure!

Great site in a fantastic location, good sized pitches, all flat. A very warm welcome from the site owner. Only issue was the showers, the water pressure isn't great. Overall, spotlessly clean and would definitely return for another stay.

A beautiful setting, very clean and well kept. A really delightful dog walking area that's sheltered naturally by the trees so even when hot you can walk your doggos. 🥰 Very peaceful, even with the children there! A very well-managed site and will definitely come again. Thankyou so much for the privilege of us staying there. 🥰🥰

Great staff and very clean facilities. Excellent help with setting up our electric hook up as it was our first time doing so. Good location from Bridlington and the Bempton cliffs where we got to see 2 baby puffins! Thanks for having us.

Good site. Good base to explore the southern Yorkshire coast. Plenty of space, particularly on the non-electric field, which has pitches on the edge a large play space in the middle. All pitches are flat. Facilities are good. Be prepared, as no freezer block facility.
Site's response
Thank you for your review, just a tip for the future from Sarah. Get hold of a large lemonade bottle, fill it with water leaving an air gap at the top. Squeese out the air put the lid on and then place in the frezzer. Freeze and place in a cool box, it should last roughly three days.
