Enjoy the stunning countryside views or head down to the beach at Pett Level, just a 15 minute walk away. Take a dip in the sea and then grab an ice cream to cool off.

About Pett Camping
Set in the stunning East Sussex countryside this site is ideal for families and groups who are looking to escape to the beach. Pett Level beach is just a 15 minute walk from the site or head to the beautiful stretches of sand at Camber, just 25 minutes away. The site boasts 50 non electric grass pitches on a spacious meadow, suitable for tents and small campervans. The pitches measure 5m x 5m. The site is also ideally situated to explore the rest of East Sussex and its coastline, Rye and Hastings are just 15 minutes away. Raised BBQs and campfires are welcome onsite, perfect for al fresco dining in the evenings. Sorry, this site is dog free.

Site rules and policies
Vehicle entrance is off the Pett Road, as per the directions.
A pedestrian-only access is available on the other side of the site, off Elms Lane, to the Royal Oak and Recreation Ground/Playpark. This is intended to be used as a safer short-cut to the village with small children. Please be considerate to the residential neighbours who live on Elms Lane.
Arrival and departure
Check in between 2pm - 8pm.
Please notify the site if you are running late and note there are no vehicle movements permitted after 10pm.
Late arrival bookings will be held for 24 hours. After 24 hours the site reserves the right to re-let.
Check out by 11am on departure day.
Groups
The site welcomes group bookings who follow the Leave No Trace principles, the usual charges apply.
Unsupervised minors (under 18s) require a letter from the parent or guardian. In the event of an emergency, parent or guardian's contact details will be given to the emergency services.
Campfires & BBQs
You are welcome to bring your own raised firepit and wood. No open fires on the ground.
Raised BBQs are permitted.
Fires and BBQs are not permitted in exceptionally dry, windy, or hot weather.
Facilities
Disinfectant sprays and wipes provided in the toilets.
Hand sanitisers are also provided.
Toilet facilities are eco-friendly, composting toilets and unisex.
Recycling and general waste bins will be provided. Waste is a huge issue for any small, basic campsite, so please consider taking your waste home with you.
Cold water standpipe provided, bring your own water containers.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch, as all areas are unlit.
This site has no on-site shower facilities.
The site is a grass field, uneven and there are no disabled toilets.
Dogs or other pets are not permitted.
Public areas are non-smoking. Please be considerate to others.
Firearms are not permitted.
No refunds for inclement weather, late arrivals, or early departures.
Site not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.
No vehicle movements after 10pm.
No electronic music. There is a quiet policy between 10pm - 6am.
The site reserves the right to deny or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
One gazebo, one pup tent, one awning permitted per booking.
Picnic tables permitted.
Things to do on site and in the Hasting area
There is plenty to do nearby, Camber Sands is just 25 minutes away, have a stroll along the stunning golden sand or take a dip in the sea. Whilst you are there, visit the historic Camber Castle with great views of the coastline.
The seaside town of Hastings is just 15 minutes away, spot some fish at the Aquarium or visit the Museum and Art Gallery.
