Sunnyside is a small, quiet and friendly site in a rustic and rural setting - perfect for short breaks with the family. It's a quick 20 minutes from Southwold with its beach and pier, plus the National Cycle Network route 1 passes by, so you might hop on a bike and ride to the coast. There's a pub in strolling distance and the Broads National Park is within a half hour's drive.

About Sunnyside Campsite

Located on an old farm on the edge of the small village of Westhall, this spot is home to nostalgic charm with a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. Perfect for those who love the countryside and nature, it's peaceful and yet well connected for reaching both the buzzing seaside towns on the Sunrise Coast and Waveney Valley. A modest drive takes you to Walberswick, Dunwich and Covehithe and lots of beaches. Latitude Festival at the Henham Estate is only 4 miles away and access is easy. The campsite is just off the A12 and within an easily doable two hour drive from London. Pitches are for tents, smaller campervan and single axle caravans only, with a selection of non electric grass pitches and a single, generously sized, electric pitch. All are set within a paddock that stretches over an acre and is sheltered by hedges and trees. Sure to suit bird watchers, walkers and cyclists, young families and couples who wish to explore the beautiful and historic North East Suffolk area. No need to bring the car, you can hop over on the train and the site can arrange collection and drop-off from a local station.

Open from 28 April to 15 October
