Peaceful and family friendly, Green Haven Camping is well located between the Suffolk countryside and coast, just 20 minutes from Southwold. Offering a range of grass pitches for tents and tourers with the option of an electric hook up, there is something for all. Dog friendly with plenty of nearby footpaths, there is an onsite honesty shop stocking local produce and fire pits available to hire. The local pub is also just a five minute walk away.

Green Haven is a very welcoming site. The showers and toilets are kept clean. Solar water gives plenty of hot water for showers and washing up. The information area is good and there is some local produce to buy. Lovely to hire a raised fire pit if you want to. The camping area was smaller than I expected and pitches didn't have the 'not mown' areas between them. The site is a 15 minute walk to the pub in Rumburgh, which is reasonably priced. The closest other pub is a 50 minute walk. Take bikes or drive to other areas from this site.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Green Haven is the smallest campsite we have stayed at with only about 15 pitches. The super friendly owners, Stuart and Katherine were always around in case of any issues and they also have a reasonably well stocked small shop with an honesty box or you can keep a tab and settle at the end of your stay. They will also give you lots of advice of places to visit and things to do. Based on its size, the campsite is very quiet and is tucked well away in the middle of the countryside, the extra benefits here are if you have clear night skies then the stars shine very bright indeed. From the campsite, you have a 5 minute walk to the local pub, serving great food, great local ales, are very welcoming and have a pool table and dart board. Recommend booking for dinner as it's very popular. The measure of a good campsite, I believe, is if you would revisit and I definitely would. We had a concern when we first arrived that there weren't enough facilities (2 showers, 2 toilets and 1 washing up station) however, we never had to wait long to use anything, if at all. Owner, Stuart, was saying that they have plans to extend and double facilities without increasing pitches. Would recommend this site. Big thumbs up.

Perfect. Great size pitches, thoughtful shop and excellent facilities. We were only there for a short time but will come back for a longer stay and explore of the area. Very peaceful site and friendly owners.

We had a peaceful, relaxing stay at this lovely campsite. The owners are friendly and welcoming, everything is beautifully kept - probably the cleanest toilets/showers ever! Lovely little shop with local produce and a great area for walking. Will definitely be going back! Thankyou - we really enjoyed it๐๐

Quiet site, parking tight, my car got scratched by other site user. Hedges and grass under trees need trimming to allow bigger turning area in car park area . Nice welcoming host, enjoyable stay. Would come back if in the area.

Thought about leaving a bad review as I don't want to share such a lovely spot! Had I known of this oasis, my whole week would have been based here. Lovely owners, great facilities and peaceful.

We had a very lovely few days at Green Haven campsite. It didn't really matter that the weather wasn't balmy sunshine. The site is very clean, so quiet and very, very friendly. The pub down on the road is just a stroll and served good food and it too is super friendly, what more could a man desire?

My husband, dog and I stayed for two nights. The facilities were to a much higher standard than we were expecting - extremely clean and we both had lovely hot showers. The campsite owners where very friendly and hospitable (even apologising for the rain! And checking we had all we needed). The setting was idyllic (lovely walks nearby and 25 minutes drive from beautiful beaches!). The pub down the road also did the best fish and chips my husband has had in a long time. There's a little provisions store to get fresh eggs and local jam etc on site which came it really useful. It's rare to find a campsite which has got it so simply right. When we are next in the area would definitely come back.

I visited with my mother and dog, we stayed for two nights. On arrival, we were greeted by Katherine who showed us the amenities. The little shop has plenty to choose from, even little treats like hot chocolate and ice cream. Shower block was spotless at all times. Perfect for a few days of relaxing and although you're in the countryside, there's more than enough to keep you busy. Will definitely be returning and the dog absolutely loved it.

We had a gorgeously sunny weekend at Green Haven. The owners, Katherine and Stuart and their daughter, were very lovely and came to check up on us during our stay. The facilities are very clean and we loved the addition of the honesty shop which helped us out as we'd forgotten a few breakfast items! There are lots of stunning walks close by - we walked to Halesworth and back mainly via footpaths. This campsite is very much in the sticks, it is very very quiet at night (beautiful!). There were no small village shops in the adjacent villages, and not much to do in the immediate surrounding area but this suited us to a T. Thank you for having us!

Weโve stayed at Green Haven a couple of times now and it is a really lovely small and family friendly campsite surrounded by the beautiful Suffolk countryside. The site has big pitches with all the facilities you need, including a little shop and just 25 minute drive into Southwold.
