About Glastonbury Cottages and Caravanning Certificated Site

As soon as you park up, you'll be very pleased with the location of your pitch, whichever one you choose includes an amazing view of the tor and countryside - the pictures simply do not do it justice. You're walking distance from the famous tor itself, and the views from the top are also incredible, or you can also walk into Glastonbury itself. If you're looking to get away from overcrowded larger sites, this small site at the foot of the Glastonbury Tor may be the perfect spot with just 13 pitches, eight of which are set on level grass and suitable for tents, measuring 8m x 11m. There are five electric hardstanding pitches available for tourers measuring 11m x 11m offering a 16 amp hook up and a grassy area too. Please note, that for pitches four and one you will need a lead of at least 25m to reach the hook up point. There are also a selection of holiday cottages onsite. For days out, Glastonbury town centre is within a 30 minute walk, great for mooching around independent shops and restaurants, or of course hiking up to the Glastonbury Tor is a must! Pack a picnic to enjoy at the top whilst you admire the views. This site is a member of The Freedom Camping Club and cars are to be kept off the grass. Dogs are welcome onsite with up to two well-behaved dogs allowed per pitch, just please keep them on a lead whilst on site and well-supervised. BBQs are permitted but the site asks that they be raised off the ground to not damage the grass.

Touring pitches are available all year round. Camping pitches are available from May until the end of September.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesSep 2024

Yeah, it's a good campsite, very neat and nice land and even grass. Easy to pitch. Only downside is the busy road next to it. Cars can be a bit loud (if you're a light sleeper like me, bring earplugs) but otherwise, quiet and peaceful. Thanks.

Amazing location, I could feel the healing energy, an outstanding view of the Glastonbury tour. The campsite really cute, the bathroom/ kitchen hub are printing condition. It was cheap as chips and peaceful, I will 100 percent return. Thank you for having us.
