About Hinton Hideaways
This fantastic space exclusively for adults is set in a peaceful rural setting yet easily accessible by road and rail. The retreat itself is tucked at away on organic farm land at the foot of Castle Hill, where wild deer, pheasants, badgers and buzzards roam freely. For those who fancy escaping to the treetops you can book The Birdhouse. This unique treehouse sits on stilts set in neat woodland with it's own private garden and personal hot tub. The treehouse has been thoughtfully decorated in a skandi style with curved walls, a handmade bed and a rain-head shower. The accommodation comes with a DVD player, free wifi access and fully equipped kitchen where you can choose to eat at the handmade dining table, or eat alfresco on the balcony outside. You can also rustle up an outdoor BBQ or sit by the campfire and watch the birds flit around at dusk. The two Roundhouses, named The Nest and The Hide, offer uninterrupted views across fields towards Castle Hill, and also come with their own private gardens featuring outdoor roll-top baths to sip champagne in under the stars. There are fully fitted kitchens inside the Roundhouses, a dining area, a fixed double bed, lights, electricity, heating, and a cosy sofa to curl up on. Outside, you're treated to a fire-bowl for toasting marshmallows, and a decking with a dining set so that you can eat outside or fire up the BBQ. Every property is south facing with its own private decking for alfresco dining with views over the open fields. There is also a fire-bowl for toasting marshmallows under the stars. It is a magical place to truly unwind and get away from the stresses of working life. Owl Cabin here also provides a luxurious and spacious option, featuring its very own wood-fired hot tub and private garden with fire pit and BBQ. Step inside and feel at home with an open plan lounge/dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom upstairs enjoys views of the surrounding woodland and the bathroom is complete with walk in shower and freestanding bath..

Things to do on site and in the Crewkerne area
The retreat is the perfect place to relax, but if you fancy getting out and about, there are a variety of great activities nearby. You can try your hand at archery, or local horse-riding and coarse fishing in the Highlands Dairy Lake. A local company, West Bay Charters, organise fishing and diving trips at lovely spots on Dorset, too. The Lyme Bay Rib Charter also offers exhilarating blasts along the Jurassic coast.
Or, if you're more in the mood for staying in and getting pampered, head to Summer Lodge in Evershot where you can treat yourself to a luxurious spa experience.
For sightseeing head to Lyme Regis for boutique shopping and dining, West Bay to explore the Jurassic Coast and Bridport for its Electric Palace cinema, twice weekly markets and thriving art community. At Burton Bradstock (home of Billy Bragg and the award winning Hive Beach Café), you'll wind a wild and beautiful beach and under an hour away. Weymouth, has all the traditional seaside feel that you need and is somewhere you can happily spend many hours.
