The owner, Susan is lovely, very accommodating and great sense of humour. The site has all you need without frills. Plenty of wildlife around and nice to be near the lake. There's lots to do in the surrounding areas and a nice pub five minutes away. Very dog-friendly and adults only.

Lovely, peaceful, quiet site. Dog walks 100m away, pub a 5 minute walk away, plenty of space between pitches. Really helpful owner, even sign-posted a visiting service engineer to us as we had a faulty motor mover. He fixed the problem cheap as chips (a tenner). Would definitely recommend and will go back.

Initially we thought it looked a bit tired in places, but once we settled we realised how peaceful and relaxing it was. It was explained that there are restrictions in place as to what can be done as it is a nature reserve. Our neighbours were ducks and swans and we looked over a beautiful lake covered in water lilies. The facilities are basic but very clean. The layout allows pitches to be very individual - sun/shade/lakeside or not. Susan, the owner, was very friendly and helpful.

This site is so lovely and I really wasn't expecting it to be quite as nice as it is. A little lake, shady, trees and Suzan is very easy going and down to earth. This site is a total gem and the surrounding area was just fantastic for dog walks. The Marriot Way is an old disused railway line and was so close and easy to walk. I wholeheartedly recommend this site. I didn't realise, but Suzan also has an old American caravan that she lets out as well. It's got a little verandah and a beautiful view over the lake, so if you have friends without a van - it's perfect.

A beautiful location with lakeside pitches. The site is well looked after and the host was very helpful throughout our stay. Great place to explore Norfolk from or just chill by the lake. Local shop and village pub within 5 min walk. Footpath nearby to walk the dog. Facilities were clean and functional for our stay. A very unique site and we were really pleased we chose to stay here.

I would recommend this site to anyone. If you're looking for a quiet getaway with lovely scenery, this is the place for you. We had the perfect pitch over looking the lake. Toilets and shower room were excellent and very clean. Susan the host was lovely and would help you with anything. Beautiful area with nice dog walks. Nothing to dislike about this place and we will definitely be going back this year. Can't wait

It is what it says, a paradise. Level pitches in a beautiful setting. Facilities are basic, but clean. The Fox is a lovely pub just a short walk away, the food was very good. Nice walks or spend time chilling next to the lake.

What a tucked away peaceful, waterside heaven! Really enjoyed our 3 nights there. Suzan was very helpful and our pitch was lovely, neat and tidy. Get the pitches right next to the beautiful lake and you will be hooked by the peace, views, birds and lillies on the lake. The showers are working but only if you kind of book them (and pay £1) but we didn't need them anyway as we had our own. The toilets were very clean, and everything very well looked after. We had our two dogs with us and did some really lovely, peaceful walks from the door and called in at the friendly and well-stocked village shop and café, just yards from the site. The pub is a very short walk away too and if we hadn't come well equipped for self-catering, we would definitely have tried it. If you want luxury and lots of local action on a site, don't come to this one. Leave this one to those of us who really appreciate peace and quiet and nature. I think I read a review where someone complained about the goose poo - well yes, it's the price you pay for having so much fabulous water bird life - just make sure it's not on the bottom of your shoes when you get back into your van. We used the site electricity - all £2.18 of it over 3 days and I thought the site fees were incredibly reasonable too. Well done Suzan, it's a really lovely little site and clearly people come to relax and enjoy it. The only reason we may not come back in a hurry is because we live in Norfolk and have so many other sites we want to try, but for anyone looking to stay in Norfolk, we will be highly recommending this one!

What a lovely site, very quiet and a lovely chilled week. Pity no fishing, but a lovely lake. Susan was lovely such a funny lady and so easy to get along with. I would certainly make a return visit.

Relaxing, picturesque and friendly. If you are looking for a little place away from it all, then look no further. The scenery is beautiful and quiet. The on-site facilities are quite basic but there is everything you need, and with the local shop and pub within walking distance - what more could you want? Highly recommend!
