Rectory Farm Caravanning, Camping and Fishing Site offers a relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of today's world. Set in over 8 acres of grassland and fishing lakes, there are electric hook-up pitches, non electric pitches, camping areas and pitches with fire pits, along with a dog walk on site. Two course fishing lakes are well stocked with carp (up to 19lb), tench (up to 8lb), bream, roach, rudd and perch.

If you are looking to get away from it all and want to find quiet site to visit, look no further. This adults only site accepts, caravans, motorhomes, campervans,trailer tents and camping tents. There are also self-catering holiday cottages at Rectory Farm in case you have family or friends that want to come away too but are looking for accommodation to stay in. Hingham is situated in the heart of Norfolk, and Rectory Farm is on the edge of the small market town (a 10 minute walk to the centre). The surrounding towns have all the shops you, with Wymondham being the most historical having. Norwich, boasting a magnificent Norman Castle and two shopping malls is a 25 minute drive away, with park and rides on the outskirts. The site is spread over 8 acres of grass land and lakes, divided into small areas. The main site is two small fields with nine pitches in each, along with other pitches beside one of the lakes and, for those looking for a more rustic feel, the camping field with fire pits.

Things to do on site and in the Hingham area
Fishing and relaxing are your ideal options as there are two well stocked fishing lakes on site. After that, try visiting the local pub, The White Hart offers excellent food and drink and is a lovely end to your day.
The market place of Hingham is surrounded in beautiful Georgian town houses. with links to Abraham Lincoln (his direct ancestor, Samuel Lincoln, left Hingham for the New World in 1638). Taking a trip into Hingham to have a look around is well worth it, you can find a bust of Abraham Lincoln in the church. Also, in Hingham you can find some brilliant independent shops including an antiques shop, hair and beauty salon, bakery, butchers, fruit and veg shop, two cafes, fish and chip shop, an excellent pub and a local Co-op, along with many more.
In Wymondham there's an abbey, museum and many old buildings.
If you're feeling sporty there are many local golf clubs in the area, Barnham Broom, Matishall, Richmond Park Watton, Bawburgh to name a few, or local pool hire at the Woodrising pool. There is a sports and leisure centre a stone's throw from site, with a bar offering weekly entertainment.
There are many footpaths around Hingham, and the site will lend guests OS maps. There are a couple of bikes free for you to use, too, or bring your own and explore the best of Norfolk by bike.
