About Brook Meadow

Begin your camping or touring adventure here at this family run working farm set on the outskirts of Sibbertoft village. Days can be spent enjoying fishing, letting the kids build dens or simply unwinding. In peak times, evenings can also be spent watching a film at the open air cinema and having a tasty bite from the food trucks. You'll find plenty of picturesque spots to camp in your tent, caravan or motorhome. Pitch up by the lakeside and soak up the scenery or choose a spot closer to the surrounding meadows and woodland. Grass and hardstanding pitches are available, with 10 amp electric. Keen fishermen can also opt for one of the three electric hardstanding pitches by the lake. Each features its own fishing swim, along with an electric hook up and water supply. If you want to enjoy nature in style, try out one of the stylish glamping options. The 6m Sunbird bell tent enjoys wonderful waterside views, set on a deck area with a BBQ/fire pit, outdoor loungers and chairs. Inside you will find a kingsize bed with luxury bedding, along with a day bed, option beds for kids, a dining area, kettle, cool box, electric and solar lights. Alternatively, the Nuthatch cabin is tucked away by the lakeside, boasting superb views from the decking outside. It's fully insulated and sleeps up to four in a double bed and double sofa bed (bedding not provided). You'll also benefit from solar powered, electric, a fridge/freezer, kettle, fold away dining table and chairs. For something a little quirky, opt for the Silverbird Airstream. Pitched away from the main camping field, the 1967 caravan features an extra long double bed, bedding, heating, electric and air conditioning. There is a full kitchen with a fridge, hob, kettle, toaster and oven, along with a radio and private loo. Step outside the Airstream and you also have your own space with an outdoor kitchen including a fitted BBQ, washup, storage, counter space and cold water tap. A semi shaded area also comes with a dining area, hammocks and sun loungers for unwinding. Ramped access is available from the rear too. Lodge and safari tent accommodation also available at the site. Everyone can also enjoy a spot of al fresco cooking with raised fire pits and BBQs both welcome. Pets are also allowed onsite but are not permitted in the bell tent or cabin. Please note, there are some works going on to the men's shower block. The amount of pitches available has been reduced to balance occupancy.

Camping and touring, Nuthatch Cabin and Silverbird Airstream Caravan are open all year round. Sunbird Bell Tent is open from 6th May to 9th September.

A note from the site themselves...

The farm has been in our family since 1931 when my father, Jasper, inherited it. In the '90s he and my mother Mary decided to diversify and use 20 acres of the 400+ acre farm into what would become an award-winning holiday experience.

Since 2018 I have helped my parents to create a new and exciting experience for guests, with cosy and luxury glamping, The Cow Shed cinema (which guests love!) and frequent visiting food trucks in peak season.

We've also worked to reduce our capacity and focus on being as eco-friendly as possible so that our guests can enjoy that relaxed feel and appreciate the beautiful surroundings.

With all of this, our main priority is and always has been to ensure guests have the most amazing time here! We look forward to giving you a warm welcome and hope you love it here just as much as we do.

Clair and the whole team at Brook Meadow.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

For me, it was perfect,. However, having a large sink (baby/toddler size) would be an idea as it is difficult to get them bathed otherwise. Great place for families.

We always welcome our guests feedback and your comments regarding the baby/toddler sink have been passed to our management team for their information. Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

Lovely site, we only stayed 1 night so difficult to comment on some things. Staff friendly on arrival. There were some works going on at the showers and toilets but I'm sure when it's all finished, it will be great. We will definitely come again as very near my daughter in Market Harborough.

Site's response

Thank you for your review Mary. Your very kind comments have been shared with our team, who really appreciate your praise. Our Ladies washroom refurbishment is now fully complete and receiving excellent reviews from our guests. For your information, during the quieter winter season we will also be refurbishing our men's washrooms this year. We do hope to welcome you back to Brook Meadow in the near future. Kind regards, The Brook Meadow Team.
