About Hillside Campsite
Hillside Camping is perfectly located, next to the Hucking Estate with over 500 acres of park and woodland. Surrounded by the tranquil countryside it's easy to forget the sites close proximity to the Channel Tunnel and popular Kent attractions. The grass camping field welcomes tents and tourers alike, with the option of an electric hook-up. The campsite is spacious and well maintained making it perfect for the whole family with ample space to play. Ideal for those looking to take in the countryside air, take guided walks direct from the pub or head off on your own following the sign posted footpaths. Dogs are welcome.

Things to do on site and in the Maidstone area
You won't be short of things to do here. The Hook and Hatchet Inn has a thriving social calendar with events such as open mics and quiz nights to beer and music festivals.
Located adjacent to the Huckling Estate, with acres of woodland and countryside to explore on your doorstep - this is the ideal spot for walkers. You're also welcome to join one of the guided walks that frequently begin from the pub.
Slightly further afield are some other scenic walks, such as Garden Walk and White Horse Wood. You can also explore the local National Trust site Stoneacre and Fort Amherst Heritage Trust, all within a half hour drive.
For family fun days out head over to The Maze and Underground Grotto or check out the Bregdar and Wormshill Railway. Plenty of excitement for kids and adults alike.
