Part of Apollo Activities Centre, Field 51 Campsite offers an ideal base for a fun-filled holiday, just ten minutes from St Albans off of the M25. The spacious tent only site is ideal for those looking for a back-to-basics getaway where they can enjoy some childhood-like fun. Enjoy onsite activities such as archery, air rifle shooting and axe throwing, and end the day unwinding by the communal campfire.

About the site

This family-run campsite on the outskirts of St Albans is ideal for those looking to get back to basics and embrace the outdoors. Guest can also get involved with the various onsite activities including archery, air rifle shooting, axe throwing, archery tag and children's crossbows. Tent campers can pitch up on one of the 30 non-electric grass pitches across the site's well-manicured grounds. The pitches are also separated into an adult and family-only section so you can pitch up next to like-minded campers. Guests also have access to communal fire pits, perfect for toasting marshmallows and making friends with other campers (firewood available at a small cost). The site is also within 20 minutes of Harry Potter Studios and transport links into London, perfect for days out. Four-legged friends are also welcome onsite!

The site will be open for 28 days between April and September.
