Nestled on the Cornwall coast, Padstow Campsite is a great spot for a family getaway. This back to basics site is ideally situated within Padstow and offers 20 non electric grass pitches with stunning estuary and countryside views. Simply pitch your tent and take in the sea breeze. Take a ten minute stroll down to Padstow Harbour and enjoy a great range of cafes and restaurants, with sandy beaches within a five minute drive!

I craved a spontaneous camping trip to take my son (5) and dog on. I booked at gone 10pm Friday night and headed down for 12 noon Saturday. Location was perfect, out of town by close enough for even my 5yr old to walk back and forth from a few times. There were routes off the main road which were quiet and a better option for him to ride his bike, connecting to the camel trail towards the end. Probable around 10 -15 mins to town going the longer route. When we got back to the tent around 9pm, all was quiet, a few tents/vans had lights on but no noise. There is a Tesco just behind the campsite which was super handy for the forgotten toothpaste and of course some snacks. Toilets and shower blocks were clean and never busy, we didn't have to wait to use either. Showers had lovely hot water and were reliable at a constant temperature. Loads and loads of room for dogs and kids to play, we took tennis, ball throwers and some other games and had oodles of space to play. At the top of the field, the ground is pretty much flat and you can position yourself behind the hedge which acts as a good shelter. There was hardly any wind there, but once you walked halfway to town it was really blowing, so it's a great little spot. Very friendly owner, who was also knowledgeable about the area and very pleasant to speak to. The site provided everything we were after for a quick night away, we had a brilliant time and will definitely be coming back! Thank you 🙏🏻

The site is ideally located within walking distance to Padstow harbour, Tesco is literally 1 minute away and the site is clean and the owners are very friendly. Only 2 minor points which would make it an easier stay were, there was only 1 mirror which was in the bathroom and the plug is outside the bathroom, and there is no hot water to wash your pots. The fix for this is that we had a collapsible washing up bowl that we filled up with hot water from the bathroom and used that.

Loved our stay at this campsite - great location that was convenient to walk into Padstow, lovely views, quiet and peaceful and spotless facilities. We will definitely stay there again.

A quiet site with truly gorgeous views, a short walk from Padstow Harbour. Fabulous clean toilet and shower facilities and the friendliest owners on hand for questions. Tesco is quite literally next door, which was incredibly handy, and a bus stop right outside of there with routes to nearby towns and villages. Tintagel and Port Isaac are easily visited by car from here in under an hour. If we are ever back in the area, there would be no question of where to stay.

Only a 15 minute walk away from Padstow harbour, less than 5 minutes walk to the local Tesco, and clean shower and toilets provided. We were greeted on arrival and shown around promptly. The host was incredible friendly and made us feel at home. Excellent views from the top of the land. Would definitely come back soon!

We had a great stay. The site was convenient for Padstow with amazing views to the water. The facilities were clean and convenient. We had a really warm welcome and couldn't have enjoyed it more.

We chose this site as it was in walking distance to Padstow, and that is where we wanted to explore. We were met by a very happy Jessica, who then explained the route into Padstow and the facilities available. Checked that we had her number in case of any questions or issues. The site has a very lovely, newly built toilet block. Four very large cubicles with toilet, wash basin, hand towels. The roof was clear, which let in lots of light, so it was very bright and clean. We were very impressed with the toilet block. Next door, they were building what I guess will be additional showers. The current shower was in the utility room attached to the main house. All very clean, with a lovely view across the other rolling hills. The site starts off flat at the top and then slopes down towards the buildings. There is a very handy large Tesco's next door, so no need to bring lots of food or drink as they stocked all you need. The swifts darted across the field in the evenings and the pigeons cooed in the morning. The site was very keenly priced, It was lovely and quiet, and a breath of fresh air to have a warm welcoming owner who couldn't do enough to make sure you felt welcomed, and could start your holiday. Padstow is a lovely place and worth a visit. We highly recommend Cough's pasties, Steak and Stilton are still our favourite. All of the usual boxes ticked. Pasties, cream teas, crabbing by the harbour, cider, fish 'n' chips, live music, all a short walk away from this special site and I don't mean from Tesco's next door.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Padstow Campsite. I have spent a lot of time at various campsites near Padstow throughout the years but this one really blew me away. The facilities (toilet/shower) were of high standard and immaculate. It is clear that they are cleaned multiple times a day. The camping field is positioned well with glorious views over the Camel Estuary. It has a lovely cosy and rustic feel. The campsite was very quiet with very little light or noise pollution from nearby roads. There was plenty of space to pitch a tent and have privacy from surrounding campers. Padstow Harbour is a very short walk away and the local amenities were very handy. Before our stay, Becca sent a very informative and handy email explaining everything we needed to know. Upon arrival, we were welcomed and shown around. The site felt secure with number plate recognition. We only stayed one night, but planning on staying much longer in the future. I cannot praise it more highly.

We haven't been camping much in years as we have found most campsites to be overcrowded and noisy, not so here! This marvellous pop up is run by a lovely lady who is clearly determined to keep the area quiet and spacious, only allowing few visitors at a time. The setting is perfect and if you can pitch with an estuary view, even better! At the time of our stay the new toilet/shower block (small) was being built, so the owner was allowing the shower/toilet attached to her farmhouse to be used - perfectly clean with plenty of hot water! There was only one of each but not a problem as the site was lovely and quiet. The new facilities will be up and running soon too, so you should not be put off by this. Highly recommend (reluctantly) as it's a little gem!
