Bike Ranch Snowdonia at Cae Gwyn Farm is a laid-back family and dog friendly campsite in Gwynedd with stunning views of the Rhinog Mountains. Ideal for keen mountain bikers or any outdoor enthusiast with an ideal location in the centre of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. There are just 30 non electric grass tent pitches for campers as well as a pod, campervan pitches and barns for hire. Enjoy guided biking tours, refreshments and a jump track!

About Bike Ranch Snowdonia at Cae Gwyn Farm
A great spot for any outdoor enthusiast, whether you are a mountain biker or not! Set on a working sheep farm, conveniently located off the A470, you're a handy distance from all that the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park has to offer, from picturesque mountain views to challenging trails! Campers can pitch up across three wildflower meadows with a relaxed pitching style allowing campers to choose where they wish to set up camp. 30 non electric pitches are suitable for tents only. There are also pitches for campervans, a glamping pod and two barns for hire. The site offers guided mountain biking tours, no matter your ability the guides will ensure you see the best bits of the trails and cover as much ground as possible. The tours start at the site and take you across the best trails in the area including the Coed y Brenin trail. There is also a jumps course and opportunities to gain biking qualifications. Even if you are not a biker, this site is a great spot for exploring the National Park, just 40 minutes from Yr Wyddfa and ten minutes from Llyn Trawsfynydd for watersports and fishing. Campfires and BBQs are allowed, so pack the marshmallows for nights spent with your friends and family listening to the crackle of the fire and the bleat of the neighbouring sheep. Dogs are also welcome to join you on your outdoor adventure, please ensure that they are kept on a lead and supervised at all times. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the facility buildings.

There are toilets and hot showers on site as well as a washing up area and WiFi access. The site also has secure bike storage and supplies refreshments for those on the guided biking trails.
The nearest shop is a Premier which is a five minute drive and the nearest pub is the Cross Foxes Bunkhouse which is also just five minutes in the car.

*Check in for camping and touring is from 2pm until 8pm. Check out is due before 11am. For the onsite accommodation check in is available from 4pm until 9pm and check out is due before 10am.
*Dogs are not permitted in the main facility buildings

Things to do on site and in the Trawsfynydd area
The site hosts guided mountain bike tours around the best routes in the area with experienced riders to ensure you get the best out of your trip. You'll even be supplied with refreshments on your days out to keep you going! The site also offers MTB courses, qualifications and a jump course. There is secure bike storage too.
If you're not a biker, this is still the perfect spot for any outdoor enthusiast, being so centrally located in Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park you have access to picturesque walking trails and a whole host of outdoor activities. Llyn Trawsfynydd (10 minutes) is a great spot nearby offering watersports and fishing.
If you want a day to recover from the adventure Snowdonia Alpacas (10 minutes) is a great day out which the little ones are sure to love! Meet the friendly animals, take them for a walk and learn more about the animals and even get a chance to feed them!
