Quite apart from the convenience of having a cosy pub to pop into whenever you fancy, it's also in a great location for other options - the rides at Alton Towers are just 20 mins from here and the gorgeous Peaks within a 25 minute drive. About the site
This pub campsite is set in Dilhorne, with easy access from the A50 and nearby Stoke-on-Trent. A convenient 8 mile drive will take you to Alton Towers, home of Oblivion, Nemesis and its own water park. The inn's beer garden with its cheery umbrellas looks out over greenery and a play area to keep little ones busy. There are even a few farm animals around, which kids love. Pitches are all set on grass without electric, offering space and relaxation.

Non Electric Grass Pitches
Max 5 people
Grass pitches without electric to suit touring caravans, campervans, and motorhomes with twin-axle vehicles accepted. Pitch sizes are 12m x 8m and have a water hook up. Dogs are allowed and car parking and WiFi are available at the pitches.
Fully Serviced Harstanding Pitches
Max 5 people
Fully serviced hardstanding pitches with a 10 amp electric hook up and water hook up. They are suitable for caravans, campervans, and motorhomes (twin-axle vehicles are permitted) and measure 12m x 8m. One motorhome or campervan is allowed per pitch.
Hardstanding Pitches with Optional Electric
Max 5 people
Harstanding pitches with an optional 10 amp electric hook up suited to touring caravans, campervans, and motorhomes. Pitches measure 8m x 12m and include a water hook up, WiFi, and car parking by each unit. Dogs are welcome!

Things to do on site and in the Stoke-on-Trent area
The Peak District National Park (25 minutes) is perfect for adventure fans! From caving to hiking and unmissable cycling - it's all there. Buxton and Bakewell are a few must-see stops on your list and you can be at Chatsworth House within roughly an hour.
Closer to base there's good walking too, and you could also test your nerve with the thrilling rollercoasters at Alton Towers.
Animal lovers will be irresistibly drawn to Trentham Monkey Forest.
