Sinclair Bay Lodges are family friendly pods with amazing views of the North Sea, set on the NC500. With only four pods, you can unwind whilst soaking in your secluded hot tub and you may even spot orcas and seals swimming past! Each pod is also kitted out with everything you may need, including a modern ensuite, kitchenette and smart TV. A great base to get exploring with Keiss Beach and the Whaligoe Steps just a stone's throw away.

About Sinclair Bay Lodges
A peaceful family friendly pods, set on the shore of Keiss beach with stunning views of the North Sea. Located on the NC500, these pods are the perfect place to unwind after a busy day exploring the North Coast. There are four pods to choose from, each with modern furnishings and very private to make your stay as relaxing as possible. The pods have a fully equipped kitchenette complete with a fridge/freezer, a cooking hob, kettle, toaster, microwave for all of your dining needs. There is even a coffee machine to enjoy your morning brew whilst watching the sun come up over the horizon. With an open plan interior, there is a sofa bed, a dining area and smart TV for relaxing with a film at the end of a day of sightseeing. In the middle of the pod is the comfortable king-sized ottoman bed with linen and bedding provided so you can pack light! The ensuites have a loo, wash basin, and a tower shower with built-in Bluetooth speakers and mood lighting. The owners have thought of everything with towels, robes and slippers all included! All pods have views of the North Sea with spacious deckings with an outdoor dining area, sun loungers and a hydropool jacuzzi. Enjoy a glass of bubbly whilst taking in the views or watching the starry night sky. You might even be lucky enough to spot a seal or orca swim past you! Take in the fantastic scenery around you with the sandy Keiss beach right on your doorstep, or take a trip to the Orkney Islands on the ferry! Unfortunately, the pods are pet free, sorry.

Each pod has an ensuite with a large Milan tower shower, loo and wash basin. The bathrooms also have mood lighting and Bluetooth speakers. A shower chair and ramp can be requested. Linen, towels, robes and slippers are all provided. All pods are heated, have free WiFi and a hydropool jazuzzi on the outdoor decking.
Each pod has a microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, cooking hob and a coffee machine.
To stock up on any essentials the closest shop is a 15 minute drive away at Hillhead Food Stores, or if you don't fancy cooking the nearest pub is The Village Inn only a ten minute walk away.

Things to do on site and in the Caithness area
The site is right on Keiss Beach so enjoy a lovely stroll along the sandy shore, or take a trip to The Castle and Gardens of Mey only a 20 minute drive from the site. Here you can tour the castle or explore the beautiful walled gardens.
There are lots of walks around Keiss with some amazing scenery, or for those wanting to explore more of the NC500 head even further North and visit John o'Groats (15 minutes) for some amazing scenery. Enjoy a seaboat tour, a visit to the brewery or try some surfing!
Or take a trip to the Orkney Islands from John o'Groats, only 40 minutes on the ferry and see some of the Scottish historical sites.
A must is a visit to Dunnet Head (35 minutes) the most Northerly point of the UK, admire the lighthouse and grab a picture by the infamous lighthouse!
