The Real Campsite enjoys amazing views over rural Oxfordshire, just 20 minutes from the Cotswolds. Choose from a range of individual spacious grass tent pitches, each with a private toilet shed, campfire and picnic bench. There is even an onsite honesty shop, private charging lockers and Saturday art/craft workshops in peak season. The Cotswold Wildlife Park and Burford are around a 20 minute drive away, with Oxford within a 40 minute drive too!

About the site
This working farm offers a peaceful, countryside getaway with views over the Thames Valley across to the Cotswolds Hills. Meet some of the onsite animals including goats and chickens, with arts and crafts sessions available on Saturdays (between May and August), with activities such as painting, felting and macrame! Each pitch is individually named, so simply choose the location that best suits you. All measure a large 15m x 15m, allowing tents only and a maximum of six guests. Everyone will have their own private toilet shed which includes a sink with cold water. For evenings under the stars, each pitch also has a large campfire area, plus a picnic bench, cooking shelf and shelter. A short walk away you will find the farm yard where there are communal hot showers, along with private electric charging lockers allocated to each pitch. An honesty shop also means you can pick up some basic essentials and firewood to take back to your pitch. If you want to cook up a delicious dinner, BBQs are welcome, just please ensure they are raised from the ground. Do note, this is a pet free site.

Just a 40 minute drive away is the historic city of Oxford, known for its famous historic university and stunning architecture. Visitors can explore the Bodleian Library, one of the oldest libraries in Europe, or take a punt along the River Cherwell.
The Cotswold Wildlife Park is around a 20 minute drive away, home to exotic animals. The 160 acre park hosts a range of daily activities including lemur and penguin feeding, along with information talks!
Approximately 40 minutes from the campsite is Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. The palace offers stunning architecture, expansive gardens, and a rich history.
