Welcome to Hillside Farm, offering a small camping meadow located on the Norfolk/Suffolk border in the heart of East Anglia. Rustic toilet and shower facilities are provided, as is an electric car charging port. Well-behaved dogs (and owners!) are welcome, off-ground fires permitted, and you'll find communal space in an old cart shed. There's also a small WWII museum which commemorates the American men who flew B-17's from Knettishall airfield.

We indeed enjoyed our stay in bell tent for 2 days. The host Deborah and her friend Martina both were lovely ladies . We enjoyed the hospitality and personal attention given, to ensure that we were doing fine with facilities around. The location is perfectly situated around the huge farm, which gives countryside vibes, there were also small towns to stroll around. It's safe, with a gated and CCTV monitored facility, it leaves no room for safety concerns. We totally enjoyed our stay.

Lovely small campsite in a great location. Greeted by a lovely lady, we were shown around the site and shown the facilities and how to use them. They have fire pits available and also wood to buy, should you need. Is next to a road, which is no noisier than being at home.

The grounds are lovely and well kept, the lady who runs the site is so friendly and helpful. The bathroom facilities - which are in an old converted horsebox (cute!) - were always clean and fully stocked. They even provide eco-friendly soaps & shampoo. Small but lovely meadow to camp in - we had a great time.
Highly recommended!

Flat pitches, with wild camping feel but with good facilities. Great service from the hosts- James, who for £10 gave us a generous bucket of firewood and kindling and brought over a fire pit with grill which totally added to our experience. His mum Deborah gave us a tour of their WW2 museum as the farm was adjacent to an American airbase. Lots of incredible artefacts and stories. Definitely will book again here.

Overall my family and I had a wonderful time away at Hillside Farm. The Bell tent was clean and gorgeously kitted out with all of the amenities that we needed for our stay. It was spacious and comfortable for 4 of us and our large dog. The site host was amazing and greeted us on arrival and checked in with us regularly without imposing, which was lovely because she was on hand if we needed anything and was quick to help. Also her knowledge of the local area was super valuable, and she was able to give us directions and advice for a day trip. The campsite is clean and simple, but we were super surprised to see that there was a war museum on site, which my husband was delighted to visit. Once again our host shared her wealth of knowledge and the kids absolutely loved it! We will definitely be returning, as it's a perfect stop gap when exploring Suffolk.
