Why you'll love it at Free Range Glamping

About the site

If you're after a rustic but luxury glamping experience not too far from London, then look no further. This secluded glamping site is set on a 500-acre regeneratively managed historic estate called Bore Place, which focuses on organic dairy farming and ecological restoration. The site offers two beautifully furnished yurts and two cosy shepherd's huts for hire, each nestled in a private corner of the wildflower meadow. The two yurts are elegantly decorated with latticework walls and a clear panel in the roof for stargazing. Both yurts are furnished with king sized beds, a pull out futon, wood burner stoves and more! Outside, guests have access to their own fire pit, outdoor safari-style kitchen and a private compost toilet. Bedding, towels, crockery and firewood are provided. The two shepherd's huts are also stylishly furnished with a double bed (and a bunk bed for kids in the larger hut), a kitchenette, wood burner stove and a toilet. Bedding, towels, crockery and firewood are provided. Outside is a private fire pit. Being a working farm, there is fresh produce available every day for guests to purchase, including eggs, milk, honey and vegetables. You're also very welcome to get involved with one of the ecological workshops hosted onsite by Bore Place, such as foraging, bee keeping, bird watching, yoghurt making and much, more! If you can drag yourself away from the serenity of the estate, check out the Tudor cobbles, timber houses and many tea rooms of Chiddingstone, just ten minutes away. Campfires are permitted in the firepits provided and more logs can be purchased at reception. No dogs, sorry!

Open from 1 April to 31 October
