In the heart of the Cotswolds near the village of Alderton, the site at Winchcombe is surrounded by beautiful views, interesting towns and historic villages, and is the perfect base for enjoying the area.
The attractive town of Winchcombe features many Cotswold stone buildings, plenty of places to eat and is home to the Folk and Police Museum as well as historic Sudeley Castle, which has lovely gardens and a pheasantry, and was home to Catherine Parr, the last wife of Henry VIII. There is lots of great walking nearby, including the Winchcombe Way, a long distance trail around the hidden gems of the northern Cotswolds. Non-members welcome.
