You'll be spoilt with miles of walks right from the site or within easy reach to explore the North Lakes, just 15 minutes from the market town of Keswick.

About Hollows Farm and Borrowdale Glamping
This family friendly site sits in the Borrowdale valley the banks of the River Derwent, making for breathtaking countryside views. A haven for walkers with great links to the North Lakes and a path, previously featured on the BBC's Wainwright Walks with Julia Bradbury, stretching from the site towards Castle Crag and Millican Dalton's Cave. Enjoy a cosy alternative to camping and stay in one of two fully insulated pods with underfloor heating, High Spy and Low Wood. A perfect getaway for up to four with a double bed including duvet, pillows and bed linen as well a sofa bed where you will need to bring your own bedding. There is a modern ensuite, with a full sized shower, toilet, a heated towel rail and even a hairdryer is provided. Each pod is beautifully furnished and you'll find an equipped kitchen area with all you could possibly need. Including two gas hobs, a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and pans, crockery and cutlery. Outside each of the pods is a small decking area with a table and chairs, ideal for alfresco dining and admiring the views. Do note that there is no WiFi in the pods. There are also two camping fields onsite, The Woodland Field and The Open Field. Both fields offer non electric grass pitches suitable for tents with The Open Field also great for campervans and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions. Dogs are welcome on leads in the camping fields, but are not permitted in the pods. You are welcome to bring your own BBQs, using charcoal only. In the glamping pods please do not use them on the decking area. Strictly no campfires.
Glamping is available all year round. Camping is from Easter until the end of October.

Two insulated and furnished ensuite pods, sleeping up to four with a double and a sofa bed. A fully equipped kitchen is included as is both an indoor and outdoor table and chairs. Towels and bed linen for the sofa bed are not provided. Sorry no dogs.

Things to do on site and in the Keswick area
Borrowdale is the perfect place for adventure with rock climbing up the Crags, canoeing, wind surfing and sailing in the rivers and lakes or exploring the miles of footpaths and cycle routes nearby.
Witness stunning views over Derwentwater and the Newlands Valley from the popular Catbells walk or hike the highest mountains in England Helvellyn, Great Gable and Scafell all nearby. For more leisurely walks stroll along the banks of the River Derwent or take the path south to explore Millican Dalton's cave and Castle Crag.
The historic town of Keswick is just a 15 minute drive away or hop on the opened-top bus that runs from Borrowdale, a fun alternative to seeing the surrounding areas. Catch a show at the Theatre by the Lake, situated close to Derwentwater with a packed calendar of arts and entertainment.
