Green Acres Caravan Park is an award winning adult only site, set in beautiful Cumbrian countryside, perfect for a relaxing getaway from the 9 to 5. Escape to this base, less than a half hour from the Lake District. Hardstanding caravan pitches are available, all with electric hook up, as well as fully serviced pitches. This site is dog friendly with an excellent dog walk and super smart facilities.

The site was booked for us as a gift by a family member. OMG what a site - clean, tidy. There were some seasonal pitches but no personal plants, large gas bottles or awnings with settees in. Facilities were your own - en-suite and very clean. Not far from the M6 but you couldn't hear it. A great stopover if you're going long distance. Bit pricey for us

Just got back and all I can say is wow, what a site, it's amazing very clean and tidy, facilities are more like the Ritz hotel - large bathroom with showers that has 2 shower heads and pressure knob, the dog walk is a great idea as is the loan of magazines books and DVDs, all in a log cabin again very clean with seating area. The owners should be very proud, it's a credit to them both. Also I found sending a text to order food a great idea, the whole experience was a pleasure and we will be recommending this site to friends and family. We had a wonderful stay, very peaceful.

Arrived slightly earlier than planned and went straight to the pitch. The site is immaculate and the facilities definitely 5 star. It wasn't busy during our stay but it was so peaceful and quiet. Hadrian's Wall is just under a 30 minute drive away and Talkin Tarn is 10 minutes. Both recommended to visit and parking very reasonable for both. Laings Café is a must for breakfast (again not far). Asda is within a few minutes drive for provisions. A highly recommended site.
