About Cockles Caravan Park Certificated Location
Simple site ideally located just a 20 minute walk from Saltash. You'll be within easy reach of top attractions in both Cornwall and Devon, as well as the ferry port in Plymouth. There is even a country club next door for food and drink! There are just five grass pitches for touring caravans, campervans and motorhomes. Each comes with a 16 amp electric hook up and offers a spacious area for setting up your table and chairs. Pitches are level and surrounded by wildflower hedgerows. There is also a bungalow onsite that sleeps up to four. Set just off the A38, you'll be within easy reach of the Tamar Valley, Plymouth, Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor so there is plenty to keep you occupied whether it is an overnight stop or a longer break! Your four legged friends are welcome to join you with lots of walks straight from the site! Campfires and BBQs are allowed too as long as they are raised from the ground. To book this site guests must be a member of the Caravan and Motorhome Club, this can be added on when booking and gets you access to over 150 campsites around the UK.
Cockles Caravan Park Certificated Location is open from 15/03 to 31/10.
Please note that there are no toilet or shower facilities onsite. There are facilities for water, waste disposal and recycling, there is also an honesty box stall for fresh eggs and home grown vegetables.

For keen walkers, there are top spots all easily accessible within a 30-minute drive including Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and the South West Coastal footpath. Head out on a stroll, take a picnic or stop at a pub along the way! Saltash is also reachable within a 20 minute walk.
Plymouth (15 minutes) is a great spot with the Theatre Royal, The National Aquarium, cinemas, bowling, shopping centres and a variety of restaurants. Great for a day out exploring the port city, you can even catch a boat to Drake's Island for a guided tour.
For days at the beach Seaton, Looe and Whitsand Bay in Cornwall are within easy reach or in Decon there is Bigbury, Thurlestone and Soar Cove. You'll be close to the banks of the River Tamar where there is paddleboarding and canoe hire.
