Twin Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding PitchesDec 2024

A very clean and tidy site. The toilets and showers look fairly new and were clean. The café on site is worth a visit. The local train station was 5 minutes drive and it was a 13 minute train journey into Chester. It is close to a main road, so there is a bit of road noise but didn't bother us. All in all, we would return again.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding PitchesSep 2024

Arrived late after a long, difficult travel at 1:30am. Wasn't the best of weather and was expecting breakfast at 8am on Sunday morning, only to be told it was a 9am opening time due to wet weather. We were all hoping that we could at least have a brew or dry ourselves off. Sadly, did not think to do this, even if cafe door was open. Had to depart for an activity so can't really say much more about this place.

Site's response

Hi Ewan, thank you for your review. The cafe onsite is run independently from ourselves and does have the opening times on the cafe window. Unfortunately, the British weather is out of our hands, however we hope you had a safe onward journey. Kind regards, Oakwood Farm.
