About Wimbleball Lake

Located in the Exmoor National Park, this lake provides a unique camping holiday in the Somerset countryside. The secluded setting of the site means it's a real getaway experience for families on holiday. The lake is an immensely peaceful setting - and it of course offers a huge range of outdoor options. You'll have the choice of hardstandings, electric and non-electric pitches for tents, motorhomes and caravans with a total of 35 pitches. You'll have a great night's stay under canvas - adventuring, exploring and stargazing. Relax by the fire pit and enjoy the Dark Skies - you're staying in one of the first International Dark Sky Reserves in Europe. For those who want to glamp, there are two camping pods available with comfy beds. The new cabin also comfortably sleeps up to four, in a double bed and two singles. Or why not experience the light and airy space of a bell tent with plenty of furnishings inside. The campsite is ideal for families and anyone wanting to embrace the great outdoors. The large and open grounds ensure that children are able to run and play freely in the open air. Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on the lead. Sorry, no dogs or smoking permitted inside the glamping options.

Open from 1 March to 31 October
