Suitable for families, groups and couples, plan your cliff walks from this friendly park with a range of grass and hardstanding pitches. There's glamping available in a bell tent too.

About Sunnymeade Caravan Park

Soak up the beauty of Scotland's south west coast and islands from the campsite grounds. The site is level and sheltered, boasting incredible views looking out over the Irish Sea and with easy access to nearby walks and cycle paths to explore - ideal for the whole family! It's split into two parts with the old part of the park where the reception is located and across the road to the larger 'Millionaires Row' section where you'll find the most spectacular views across the water. There's a selection of grass and hardstanding pitches onsite welcoming tourers! Hardstandings have optional electric. Wanting a little more luxury? The bell tent onsite provides an idyllic shelter on the site - all you need is bedding and pillows. Well behaved dogs welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.

Open from 1 March to 31 October

Enjoy the short five minute stroll into the village where there's a little beach you can walk along or find a spot to top up your tan. There's a sandy beach nearby on the cliff walks and the wonderful family orientated pubs and restaurants are all pet friendly so you can bring your pooch in with you - the antique shop comes highly recommended.

The Orr Ewing family own the estate and are based in the area and they have beautiful walks through the glen across onto Killantringan Lighthouse.

Portpatrick is well known for the variety and quality of seafood landed in the harbour and served fresh onto your plate. As a result, you may not be surprised there's a selection of great seafood restaurants in and around the village.
