About Camp at The Wave

Paying tribute to the surfing culture that has come to define the attraction here, each safari tent is located mere metres from the action. Wake up to the waves from a comfy yet luxurious glamping base that lets you kick back and unwind. Built to handle the English weather, all are fully furnished with comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchenette, a private loo, and a spacious balcony to soak up the scenery. Sleeping groups of two to eight, they're suited for a great holiday for all. Two safari tents are fully wheelchair accessible too. The surfing lake is just an arm's reach from your safari tent, plus you'll have easy access to the onsite Clubhouse with cafe and bar area.

Facilities and amenities

Safari tent facilities include a private toilet and fully equipped kitchen area including two ring hob, sink, fridge, kettle, plus cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery. Shower block onsite nearby.

The Clubhouse cafe onsite opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner using the best ingredients from local suppliers, including Buxton Butchers and Clifton Coffee - it's also the home of a surf shop and roof terrace! There are a number of superb pop-up food stalls here too.

Check-in is between 3pm till 8pm and you must vacate your glamping accommodation by 10am on day of departure.

The site is based at one of Bristol's most popular attractions, The Wave, meaning you're mere moments from surfing the waves here. Whether you're a beginner or pro boarder, there are sessions catering to all types of surfer. Venture into the city and hit the waterfront, with paddleboarding available, or take in some of the cultural history here with a trip to the Arnolfini gallery, Millennium Square and more. Other local attractions include: *Bristol Zoo Gardens *Tyntesfield (National Trust) *Cabot Tower *Bristol Aquarium

The Clubhouse cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner using the best ingredients from local suppliers, including Buxton Butchers and Clifton Coffee. There is also a surf shop and roof terrace.


Bustling Bristol is a short distance from the site and is a hub of culture, complete with Millennium Square, the Arnolfini art gallery, cinema as well as an abundance of shops lining its waterfront - also great for a paddleboarding session!

Alternatively, soak up the Georgian history at Clifton village and make time to take in the stunning views from the suspension bridge or make a purchase in one of many independent stores here.
