About Grey Willow Yurts

Thanks to these quirky glamping options, you can enjoy the benefits of camping while getting a good night's sleep and more! The rural setting in the Blackdown Hills AONB allows you to fully relax and switch off from the world, whether you spend your sunny days in the hammock, or BBQing under the deck to shelter from the British rain. Don't miss toasting marshmallows on the campfire and telling spooky ghost stories, all the while feeling like you've gotten back to nature. There are three yabins on site, each sleeping up to five people, with one double bed fully made up, one double futon and a single futon, both with cotton blankets. Each has its own dedicated bathroom and wash-up point just across the field. Perfect for either a weekend away as a couple, young families or why not book all three and make it a family and friends get together. Don't forget the dog! This is a very dog friendly site, with plenty of walks nearby to exhaust them. A maximum of two dogs are welcome to join you. Well behaved groups also welcome.

A note from the site themselves...

We've put our hearts into making our site super eco-friendly. Yup, that means no electricity, but trust me, you won't even notice!

Our water comes from our very own borehole, just 340 metres away. No chemicals added, and the only electricity we use is a teeny water pump. Our sewage treatment is done by a top-notch system from Germany, no power needed. Plus, we handle all sewage right here, no power-hungry plants are involved.

All the wood you see? Totally sustainable or reclaimed. We're all about being green and keeping that carbon footprint low. Don't forget to recycle! We provide boxes, and we're always finding ways to be even greener as our site grows.

We can't wait to welcome you to our little green paradise soon, Natalie

Glamping Cabin - YabinsMay 2024

Lovely rural peaceful place, just what we needed but the bed was very lumpy so didn't get much sleep that was the only fault, enjoyed our stay 😁

Glamping Cabin - YabinsAug 2023

If you want a rustic stay this is for you. The yurt was comfortable, log burner easy to use and the toilet/shower clean and just right. Fire pit nice too. However, no electricity means no fridge, which caught me out. Also, although it sleeps up to 5 with a double and single futon, they only provide bedding for the double bed which I think is a bit of a shame considering the price. Also, kitchen and toilet is across the field, which is fine for a rustic stay but I think because of these two things, it's overpriced. Otherwise, a cosy place to stay.
